Don't remember the exact convo, but it involved Julia too. Think you mentioned that you've been dedicated to cutting and that you've progressively lost weight overtime. You stated that cutting felt like a forever long process, but I knew that you'd be bulking soon! With amount of weight you've shredded off, you should be proud. Now, take pride in putting on the muscle mass bro.

So far hitting 3200-33300 last 3 days. Feel a bit bloated and have some stomach issues, probabaly due to fiber from more fruits and veggies. Still feel like i look leaner. Off to do legs

Man I'm getting very little love in this log. Maybe I should just delete. Oh well. Really focus on form today with legs. Went to failure on 4 th set of squats. May have finally admitted to myself that I'm using too much weight gonna lower it next week. Decent day of eating. Will probably end up around 3300. No fun foods other than chocolate milk and banana myo post workout and some ice cream for desert

Race went really well. Finished under the time I wanted. I budgeted about 500 flex cals to eat after but I went over. If I eat the remainder of the foods I planned I'll be around 3600 when I've been shooting for 3200-3300. Should I adjust or just say fuk it

Today was an interesting day for me. Had to make several adjustments to the plan. I typically like to plan out my meals a day ahead.
Had a banana and cliff bar pre race
Steak Fritata with homefries and WW toast after
A few chicken wings at a bday party
Half a stuff crust pizza for dinner
About 3450 cals which is only slightly higher than shooting for. Pro was only 185 which is low for me but over 1 g per lb of lbm.
Gonna weigh tomorrow and see where I'm atPL Log

So I weighed this am and I'm back to 194.6 where I started 2 weeks ago. Not sure if I should assume its a natural fluctuation and increase cals or if I actually gained weight and stay the same. I was slightly higher in cals yesterday and carbs the past couple. I'm leaning towards staying at 3200-3300 and see next week. Thoughts?

I think that's the best option right now.
Also, when you count calories, do you utilize macro calculations or calories on the box? For example, sometimes the calories on the box would say something like 140 calories, but macros are 1g F / 30g CHO (9g of which are insoluble fiber) / 13g P, which really should be 181 calories. Do you track it as 140 calories, like the box states, or would you track it as 181 calories, using macros?

I used to use box information as well. However, back when I dieted on higher fats, the calories, based on the box information, would be lower than my intended caloric intake. Now, that I've switched to higher carbs, mainly as an experiment, my calories, based on the box information, is now much higher than my intended caloric intake (probably due to dietary fiber intake as well). I've noticed that this could have been the reason why I did not gain weight as readily on higher fats vs. higher carbs because I probably wasn't really tracking my calories correctly by using box information.

Intereting. I will consider this. Honestly doubt I'll switch as that just seems like too much added work. My activity has been a bit higher as I've been running more. Gonna keep it the same this week and see

Yep give it one more week.
This happened to me, except I dropped even lower than when I started my bulk. It was about two weeks in and I dropped from 159 to 153 for two days. Then I shot back up to 159. Then up to 163. Then down to 158. Soooo, one more week, then increase cals if you need to is my advice.
