Thanks. Nothing close to you tho. There was a time when they were similar. Now you just blow me out f the water lol.
New laptop sounds sweet.
Leg press made it kinda tender but it was bearable (ie I could train through it). Will hit up some higher reps with it next time around ad see how that makes it feel.

Bleh, w/e session today. Lifted with my dad cuz he wanted to so ended up having to wait until much later to train. Apparently I fukn hate lifting with people. Annoyed as fuk about boy being alone all session. Ended up feeling really futile by about halfway through pendlays and that didn't go away anytime soon.
Appetite was pretty shot pwo due to a lack of perceived intensity.
Asides from that tho, day was half decent I guess. Got a bit of work done.

Totally feel you on the hate lifting with others sentiment. The gym is just somewhere I want to be left alone to get stuff done heh.

I think it was meant to say not alone. Damn you autocorrect.
But yeah agreed on that. Love his philosophy. Objectively, this was more of an average session than a -10% since I still hit all my planned weights but my mood was just off cus I didn't feel into it (cuz I continuously had to take out my earbuds to coach my dad)
Yup. It's my "alone time" where I don't have to all to anyone and can completely decompress.
Thanks. Taste could us some minor tweaks but not bad for making it without a recipe and being whiteAAU World SJ Powerlifting Champion, 2014

Any chance at getting that curry recipe? im a sucker for stirfry's/rice bowls and always looking for good sauces.
Im 100% Different, working out in a very competitive gym with nearly everyone who does compete in some form of bodybuilding, figure, physique etc. It drives me harder to see those who have success, gain first place trophies, win shows, win overall's and continue to improve themselves and makes you match their intensity/work ethic.
not to mention when people are benching 450-500 pounds, squatting over 500-600 pounds, it makes you reallize you got some work to do to meet those standards.
If your weak as hell i would love to be able to squat that much at 17 years old, let alone train smart and eat smart at that age

Hey bud thought I'd hit ur log with the advice on ur bench in the SYTYCL thread.
I am NO bench expert but a few things i saw since you were looking for input.
-your wrists are not in a straight line. If u look at ur vid they're behind. Try to keep your wrists in line
-I am a fan of the touch n go if your not doing a paused bench. Light touch is good, actually puts more strain to not go all the way down
-arch looked ok
That's really it, like I said my bench is horrendous but it's little corrections like that, that go a long wayP.T.S. Getting stronger by the day

lol
yup. i dont have the make an impression issue so much as need to keep my music in my ears to stay focused
thanks. that does actyually mean a lot haha
uhh sure, iirc it was
sear 5oz ground turkey with half an onion and some garlic
add powder and paste and cook until aromatic
1/2c each tomatoes and milk
simmer and reduce until slightly thick
see that's the thing, i dont compare myself to others since i learned that its an exersize in futilit for me anyways.
brb 1 squat 0 pounds right nowlol /wrists .
SYTYCL=DYEL?
thanks. i pause all my pressing work because
1. tng floor press would thrash your elbows
2. practise how you play/compete
3. i get too loose if i tng.AAU World SJ Powerlifting Champion, 2014

Matt, I know you're always looking for good literature/resources for strength training so I'd recommend reading this if you haven't already (sorry if its a re-post). Great info in here: https://www.commerce.uct.ac.za/manag...04%20PART1.pdf

Session went pretty good. Just wanted to get in and do a bit of [p]rehab work and then some shoulder fluff. Was fun for sure.
Leg press felt really good today with the extra couple warmup sets. 0 twinge which def means what I'm doing right now is helping. Speaking of which, I'm stretching out my hip as of late by bringing my knee to my chest then extending my leg by pulling on it slowly to stretch it open. Really helping heaps with healing this hip.
Had work tonight and damn it's getting pretty dead... Hope this isjust because its th holidays and everyone's broke from presents.
