    How much whey protein per day?

    I'm on a muscle building program for rugby, I've decided to start taking whey protein with creatine monohydrate. how much whey protein should be enough to put on some muscle weight?

    If you need to put on weight, eat as much food as you can. Use the protein powders post workout (convenience) and in between meals. The protein powder doesn't necessarily add weight, but as part of a high calorie clean diet, it can certainly provide assistance.

    This, but try not to get all from the powder. Just take enough to help you hit your macros. I'd head to the nutrition section if I were you.

    ur goal body weight in lbs.= that number in grams of protein
    ex. 205lbs.target body weight = 205 grams protein a day

    1.5 grams per pound of weight. But not in just whey, its your combined protein totals for the day. Whey is preferred only if you can't get a meal in or post workouts. But due to time constraints, you can take whey, but not all your protein should be from this.
