    Elbow Injury Question

    So I have been combating what I believe is tennis elbow for a few months now. I went to the Dr., x-rays were negative, so he gave me a cortisone shot at my request. My elbow was better for a month and I was gradually lifting again being conscious of my elbow and grabbing/lifting things. The past few weeks it has been increasingly tender in what feels like the joint area. The forearm is a little sore but the main pain is coming from the joint area.

    Sometimes it will ache when I'm doing nothing, and other times I will get some pain when doing normal everyday things. I tried doing some bi's and tri's today and I had no pain. My question is if there is no pain or discomfort when doing certain lifts is it safe to do those exercises or even though I do not feel pain I am still doing more harm then good?

    I have an apt. Monday to get an MRI.
