    127 - 165.

After that, I was scarfing down literally 5-6,000 calories a day.

But your body type is different than mine... I am a severe ectomorph.

What works for me does not work for you.

But anyways, it was 38 pounds before I started having to go over-haul on mass feed.

I gained like 6 pounds of just muscle in a month! It was great, but now since I've been lifting for awhile I have to eat constantly to see gains :/

Since I'm not sure about muscle I've gained in lbs, I'll use everyone's favorite lift as a baseline for my muscle/strength gain from about 2 months ago when I got serious about lifting/diet to now.

Went from benching 145 to now 210 and lost ten pounds while doing so. I expect for my strength gains to stop soon since I'm pretty much running a cutting diet of about 500 calories under maintenance and have been doing so for awhile. But for now....wheeee, strength gains and fat loss.

Nobody is denying that you gained 6 lbs in a month. But when you said 6 lbs of MUSCLE, that is when the lols ensued.

Yeah I feel you, bad choice of words on my part. I would say I've gained 6 pounds on MUSCLE, just muscle in like 4 months or so. I'm not sure if that's good since I've just started seriously lifting at the beginning of the year

1.5 pounds of muscle and the rest was water, glycogen and small amounts of fat possibly.

10 pounds is perfectly realistic if you are new to lifting, your diet is on point, and you aren't training like an idiot. After the first year or two, it starts getting much harder.

In my experience, every gets about 20lbs of easy, fat-free mass before their diet and training has to be completely on point to see good gains.

didn't worry much about diet so i'm guessing most of my mass was natural growth
