I'd say "too soon" would depend on your goals/genetics/potential/natural base/truly understanding nutrition & training, and being in touch with your body and knowing how to manipulate it with those. Making sure you're doing it for the right reasons, having a base knowledge of compounds, protocols, ancillaries, possible side effects, research etc. Take your time, dissect the information you attain and separate the bullsh*t bro science from the legit. Talk to people you know will give you honest, personal experience derived and informative answers.
It's a big decision and the people who get the most out of it are the ones who usually meet the above criteria. The ones that don't are the kids that end up with gyno, permanent damage to their endocrine systems, side effects, injuries, medical problems, etc. If you want to be safe, minimize risk and make the most out of it, those are just a few of the things I would make sure you have checked off.Instagram - @dan_evan1

I don't have any prog pics or videos and this is powerlifting related but I'm a regular so I thought I'd share some gains. I have had some pretty good strength gains on squats recently. About a 4-5 weeks ago I did a 1 rep max squat of 160, last week I got 150 for 10 which apparently works out to be 200 1rm. I haven't attempted a 1rm since the 160, I'm holding out for that 5 plate squat.

Hey guys,
couple of regulars knew i was competing and asked me to post some pics up in this thread.
I've been very inactive on the boars lately and the reason is, believe it or not, the new ****ty interface.
So i'll try to keep this short, cliff style
decided last contest to never compete again
girlfriend was going to compete end of 2015
thought what the heck might as well
new job was slow (i'm district manager of the new smart models at Mercedes Benz) so didn't really keep me that busy
thought what the heck might as well do one earlier, put some grease on the wheels
started 15 weeks out at 200lbs (what i used to weigh before dropping water last contest)
most insecure prep ever because i had to catch up like mad
overall mood etc was good, job and relationship didn't suffer one bit, energy was ****ed last weeks
contest day itself
shape good and getting better
dude i asked to help with peak week did a great job, except he went missing right when i had to pump up
had to ask a complete stranger to help me with tanning
had to rush pump up
3 dudes from ****ing kuwait oxygem gym joined, rigged situation, wasn't an international comp, so much for fair play
tan ****ed up, badly
placed sixth (hurts to even say that)
will compete later this year, very motivated to improve everything and bring a perfectly balanced package
pics
5 weeks out
2 weeks out
cool pic of my last check up 1 day before
morning of the show

Tim, you know how we all feel about it. Life is full of these unfair placements. All you can do is to come back stronger and better. Honestly, you improved so much the first month and that alone was just insane.
