what program does you guys all run. same thing or different???? just wondering. you said pr training, which i assume all powerlifters are training for that no matter what, but i didn't know if it was a certain program.
PR's: 365 | 280 | 500 = 1145 lbs

most of us got strong with Madcow 5x5 and variations of it such as the advanced version... currently squat machine, flying knee, and the p are still running it but when they do there last sets they do as many as possible in stead of 5 (like 531)
me and ironman are both running 531 but we only started a month ago. before that ironman did 5x5 and some westside at supertraining... but we really like the 531 we will probably run it for a few months maybe even a year depending on how it goes.

the 3 sets that you program are you " work sets " but you should definitely do warm ups to work up to those work sets, yeah you do do each once a week so you my want to wait till you stall to do the program, but we have also added 5 sets of 10 after your max to build muscle
