how can i make sure there isnt any heavy metals in whey?

Just throw a magnet in your tub of whey. The magnet will attract all of the heavy metals in there and you won't eat them. Just don't eat the magnet.

Try twisting the lid. It acts as the volume control on most jugs of whey. If you start hearing guitar riffs and fast drums, you'll know that you've dun goofed.

I would think that canned fish like tuna and fresh caught fish would have a lot more heavy metals (depending where you get them) than whey by volume, and with less protein.
Still, there are a lot of benefits to eating fish, and whey. Unless you work in some kind of food lab you will never really know, there could be huge differences between brands/producers.
