Nice lift we are about even in our strength.

I went heavy for the first time today, the shoulder wasn't ready yet. Was able to get 395, but got stuck on 405 with a pain in the left shoulder.

man so close, another inch and you would have cruised to lock out.
it is your bench routine I stole that got me to the 385. between that and rocky's advice I got it. going to try 390 pretty soon. I wish I had a bench like yours though. I gotta admit I am tempted to try 440 with my slingshot. my goals are 400raw 450slingshot by my birthday and that is aug so running outta time

Just sharing some bench work from the other day. Hit a paused PR @325 and a slingshot pause rep PR @335*3. I missed a raw 315*3 but I'll get there soon. Hanging right around 200lb body weight.

I know. I wasn't happy that he got that close. Anyone that knows me, knows I wouldn't take credit if I knew it was assisted.

I'm with you. It pisses me off that you train for such a lift and the spotter might touch the bar.

yeah you can see the right arm coming up a little quicker than the left but you got more. I am really going to have to work hard to catch up to you guys

Jesus, I almost blew a nut getting 270lbs at 190 lbs. after work one day. Maybe a little more before work. Thought I was a bad ass. You guys warm up with that **** and you are the same or lighter in BW. Good job!!

I like checking in here for inspiration. Figured I should contribute my own.

I failed at 135 kilos/297 lbs at Nationals in March (first link). The second link is my personal rematch from this past weekend. I opened at 125, second was 132.5 and third was 135 (just posted the third lift). BW in most recent meet was 195, in March 189. I originally signed up for Nationals as M-2 (age 52), 83kg, but then decided not to cut and just focus on strength. I was sick during Nationals and was debating not competing.
