heres me doing 220 at 156.0 pound bodyweight with a less than recovered right shoulder which made for a less than pretty lift but a successful one.

You can post as many vids/entires as you want.
"Bouncing" means when you drop the bar on your chest so that you get a little extra spring when you push the bar back up.
"Shirtless" means that you cannot wear special benching shirts for these lifts (powerlifters use these sometimes). Regular shirts are obviously fine... I don't mean that you have bench topless lol.... although that would be fun for the female entries!
If you have a link to a vid just post it here and one of us will try to get it up for ya.
Good luck!

Thank you for the info, much appreciated. I did a 315 last month with some help, so I should be able to get back up there at least. Fallen off a bit (tendonitice in my right arm) and worked more on my decline bench. Have to use a smith machine for a spotter with that.
You from Mississauga? I am from Brantford. Havent update my info yet, I am new today. Will work on getting a video next time I do chest. Thanks again.

I do agree, as I notice a lot of pep came out of my step at 41. seems 30-40 was all the same. Could be a simple answer, like adding your age to your max weight lifted. So a 35 year old lifting 240 would score a 275, while a 50 year old lifting 240 would score a 290. Maybe do something overall like minus that figure by half your body weight. Not very scientific though.

I guess I don't view this as competing with others (go to a meet for this), this is to about improving yourself. Lifters like Sting Ray impresses the hell out of me, one guy almost benched double his weight, Dave Wiggins nailed 450#, jayluk 365 x 2 after a huge weight loss. That is awesome and motivates me to do more.
As to losing "pep" well...At the age of 40 I benched 400 for the 1st time ever. At the age of 45 (2 year layoff) I hit 455 for the 1st time ever. Keep plugging along, there are many beasts over 45!400# Bulgarian bicep curl

I agree that we can still do great numbers, and you are doing awesome numbers. My bench is the best it has every been now that I am 45. The pep comment was more about the spring in my step, almost like I lost a source of adrenliane. Hard to explain. It could jsut be me to, as I have lots of heart issues too.
