OP just bring a protein shake with you to the gym. Put the powder in a water bottle, when you're done your workout put water in it, shake it up, and drink it. In my opinion 60-75 minutes after your workout is too long. I'm not trying to be mean, don't take this in a bad way, but are you very overweight? Because if you are then it is possible to lose fat and build muscle. Especially since you're just starting out too.

I use to be very overweight but i have lost a lot. I have skinny arms and legs nad my back i have no muscle like you can see my spine a little bit but chest and under my chest is toned up as i do sit ups and pressups everyday but i have a little bit of a wobbly belly. I dont know if my lower belly just needs toning up or i need to burn fat but i need to build muscle everywhere. Does i matter what protein shake i get or just get one that has a lot of carbs and protein in it?
Also is it ok to just use the weight machines for now as its hard to get on the dumbbells because i go to small gym and lots of people go to it and it gets a bit crowded. Also the dumbbells are a little to heavy for me at the moment lol just done cardio before but now want to do just weights to bulk up a bit.

You need to lift heavy ass free weights. You are more likely to get injured on machines than free weights due to their restrictions on form. Deadlift, bench, squat, shrug the heaviest weight you can. If you have to start out with the bar that is fine. Watch YouTube videos on proper execution and form of the major lifts and go from there.

Whats your heigh and weight? And I would stick to free weights, as in barbells and dumbbells. If the gyms crowded then try to find a different time to go if you can. I really doubt the dumbbells are too heavy though. Most gyms have dumbbells that go from 5-10 pounds all the way up to 120-150. Don't be embarrassed if you are using the lightest ones. We didn't all start out dumbbell pressing 100's for sets of 10. Gotta start somewhere.
