Quitting all supplements except whey (srs)

Don't see any point anymore...Also I just watched Bigger Stronger Faster and it only strengthened my opinion that supps are a joke.

Whey protein is fine sure....but all these nonsense supps like test boosters, pre workout drinks (overpriced caffeine), over priced creatine, and even BCAAs might help like 1% max if anything imo. the WORST is all of these idiotic herbs.....

    Anyone else just use whey?

EDIT: Also take a multi and fish oil

i think if you eat a balanced and varied diet a multi is unnecessary
even whey is unnecessary if you're getting adequate protein intake
all i take supp wise is some bcaa (will probably stop that, just wanted to experiment) and a caffeine pill to get me going
caffeine pills are definitely the way to go if you want a kick before a workout
~$5 for a bottle as opposed to ~$50 worth of a tub of that jack3d or whateverbull****

bottom line yea all that **** is bs

just curious when you were doing your contest prep- what supps did you take?
    multi, whey, creatine?

the problem IMO is is when their over priced, i bought some stuff off bb.com for like 6 - 7 buks which would cost 30 in the shops, and it helps , especially this 'fat burner' stops my craving for hunger and olny costs like 8 $

For contest prep I did BCAAs during workout to keep mass during the low carb phase. Other than that nothing except whey, multi, fish oil (which I didn't need cause I ate fishy)

    I'm a big fan of ZMA. That's something I won't give up.

I was just on the supp section and apparently the Fda is going to be cutting out a lot of them so you got nothing to worry about

it's too easy to try a new supp every now and then, which is my case...

after this crazy period of tryouts, I think I'll go with :

    creatine (~30$ for 1000grams, good for ~9months)
xtend (it really helps with my workouts that can be pretty long at times)
    whey

and maybe a multi if there's a special on it
    Dead - 545lbs
    Bench - 335lbs

    Bosanac

Oh OK. You were using it to increase cognitive function. I don't think it works well unless you actually have reduced blood flow.

Dat der forskolin or tyrosine work almost as good and sometimes better than adderal if you take enough.

Do it, I've been on a multivitamin and milk as my post workout drink for over a year now and have had the exact same results. Diet is key, supps are a total waste.
