Hey all,
I have been told by many people on here to just make one log thread so it can encompass all my bulk and then my sensequent cut to reduce the threads I am making. Here is a cliffs of my background. I was formerly 360 pounds. Went on a very low calorie unhealthy diet and got to 147 and in the hospital with anorexia. Went to rehab, came out at 170 fearing food every waking moment. Got back in the gym last fall and was almost brought to tears at how weak I was. So, working with my nutritionist I set out on my weight gain journey in November. Initially wanted 200 lbs to be my final goal weight, but have changed it to 215. So, I am going to bulk to 240 and cut to 215. I will log everything here nutrition wise and how I'm feeling.
I am currently using a Bodymedia Fit to track how many calories I burn throughout the day. I eat 3500 calories 500g carb/ 175g pro/ 90g fat everyday over 4 meals. I then upload the BMF at 830 and take what I've burned +20% to get what I need to eat for my before bed meal. I am able to eat whatever I crave because I have already met my minimums. I will also use IIFYM principles along with 2020wellness' PSNA to make up my first four meals.
To those that say "oh another log from bbavender" I ensure you that this is my last log I will ever need because it isn't specific to a certain goal. Just reestablishing a healthy relationship with food.
Thanks for all the support,
Bavs

So I knew I was active at work but darn not this active haha. I assumed I burned roughly 3400-3600 thus I set my calorie goal at 4200. I saw little progress now I see why. Today, which was a rest day in the gym I burned 4489 according to the bmf. So I am about to eat a 1700 calorie IIFYM carb fest! This meal is 16oz yogurt, 3.2oz cinnamon toast crunch, 6 graham crackers, 1.2oz almonds, 2 pop tarts and a nutrigrain bar.
Totals for the day:
4988 cals/ 704g carb/253g pro/ 140g fat
Notes: never thought my mind would let me do this. I am trusting the BMF because I have accepted that if it is incorrect I know how to properly diet if I put on too much fat. It also shows me that on the weekends I was grossly overeating. If I'm inactive on the weekends I barely burn 3000 cals so that it why at 4200 I broke even. I love my purchase thusfar and hopefully it will be a great tool going forward

Today was a gym day. I hit the gym at 3:45 am and busted it out. Went to work had a great day. Felt really motivated so came home made dinner and went on a walk with my dog. Just uploaded the BMF I burned 4871 for the day! Just finished up eating a 2000 calorie meal of food that I had to throw together. This BMF has really opened my eyes and now I need to goto the grocery store tomorrow because I'm out of food :/.
Todays totals:
5352 calories
768g carbs
264g protein
147g fat
Notes: after yesterday's huge carb up and tonights giant carb up I am retaining more water. Couple that with re introducing creatine my weight is up about 5-6 pounds since Saturday. It will level off here soon so I'm not too concerned. If it doesn't I'm going to give it 3-4 weeks then adjust if necessary

Well, the BMF wasn't skewed by vibrations as I didn't buff at all at work just cleaned interiors and burned 5051. I sure hope this thing is giving me accurate readings or I'm gonna put on some fat eating like this. Oh well, why have the device but not trust the readings it's giving you? Your either all in or nothing. And for at least two weeks I'm all in.
Totals:
5542 calories
788 carbs
211 pro
177 fat

Another PR for cals burned. 5242 today! I hopefully will be losing some of this water weight over the next few days if this gadget is accurate. If not my cut will just be harder . I dont notice that big of a bloat and the mirror hasn't changed that much although my eye isn't the best when looking in the mirror with my disordered view. Measurements tomorrow will be interesting gauge.
The eats
5740 cals
808g carb
264g pro
180g fat
