Just got back from Moab. Had a blast. Camped at Sand Flats and ran the entirety of Fins and Things.
and lol I live in Denver. Used to live in Florida.
Got passed on Fins by a JKU with a rancho lift and 35s, end up passing him a few miles later after his front suspension destroyed itself on what looked like a really easy section.

FUKKKKKKK why is that when I work on my jeep nothing seems to go right. Things that are supposed to just slide into place nope, oh look it would be a shame if that nut you are trying to thread suddenly disappears in the chassis of the jeep.

well.. i have a new mall crawler now.. previous owner didnt even drive it in the rain cause it made it "too dirty" so i will have to fix that pretty soon.. my only complaint is the 20 inch wheels.. lol but they are brand new with new toyo mud terrains on them.. so unless i can find a decent trade, ill be rolling them for a bit..

I know this thread is pretty much dead but figured I'd share. little long..
Was riding on beach Saturday in 4Hi (without airing down, kinda stupid but never had trouble before). Anyway I got stuck... No big deal, tons of people around to help. But first I try to put it into 4Lo and boom, transfer case went slack. So now I'm stuck in the middle of the beach, I crawl under and go to reattach the piece but was surprised to find it still ok. I didn't know where the attachment was on the front end so I got winched off the beach by some nice guys.
Tow truck came (those guys saved me like 700 since it wasnt a beach tow) and when I got it back to my house, I finally lifted the center console and saw the other connection for the transfer case and fixed it. I also bought 4 of the bushings bc this happens a lot apparently.
cliffs:
- transfer case is an annoying sloot.
- Air down if going on sand.
Here's my question. I have 35's on stock Wrangler JK. I was reading that bc I didn't re-gear, I am better off in 4 Low. Any truth to that? What do you guys usually use for beach?*** Misc Cigar Crew ***
