The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
2nd Lt. Joe L. Cunningham, 27, of Kingston, Okla., died Aug. 13 at Laghman province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained in a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 179th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Oklahoma Army National Guard, Stillwater, Okla.

They were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 172nd Infantry Brigade Grafenwoehr, Germany.
Killed were:
Sgt. Matthew A. Harmon, 29, of Bagley, Minn.; and

I feel bad for these brainwashed kids who unwittingly sign up as cannon fodder for the military industrial congressional complex, I know both they and their families often have only the best intentions; they are generally good people. But I can't rightfully mourn the deaths of mercenaries.
