Can't carry on conversation with girls(srs)

What the fuk? How about ask the girl how she's doing or how her day was? Example..

Me: hey!
Her: hey whats up?
Me: watching tv. how bout you?
Her: Just listining to music.
Me: Oh cool. How was your day today?
Her. Good and yours?
Me: Mine was good to what did you do?
Her: Oh well I went shopping and the out to dinner

You can see where this leads. then eventually ask her what she's doing later on. Maybe it'll change and you can ask another question. I think as a guy you need to be the one to make a convo interesting. Thats how I start my convos and sooner or later they just lead to random things too talk about.
