******************JOESWAT, THE ORIGINAL JUGGERNAUT****************
NEWS!!! FOR ALL JUGGERNAUT LOOKING TO IMPROVE.....
YOU WANT RESULTS LIKE THE PRO'S!!!!!, WELL, HERE ARE SOME TRAINING
TIPS ON STIMULATING MUSCLE GROWTH;
***When weight training( whether your using heavy or light) try not to
let the muscles relax during the set (always flexing as hard as
possible during every inch of every rep) with 50-60% of the maximum
performed to failure, example; refer to(pause and squeeze exercise
video on
legs) . HGH, and IGF-1 levels will be enhanced!
The constant tension exercises can build size and strength despite
using relatively light weights and when if muscle damage is fairly low.
However, if the muscle is allowed to relax during the set, oxygen and
blood will flow into the muscle and you won't reach optimal benefits.
*A few simple rules to remember to stimulate muscle growth are;
1. Heavy lifting (4-6 reps), which promotes a high rate of mechanical
damage/protein degradation.
2. Relatively high reps (up to 12-15 for the upper body and 15-20 for
the lower body), which promote a high mechanical degradation due to the
combination of moderate time under tension and intra muscular tension
magnitude.
3. Constant tension sets. To do these properly, you must flex the
target muscle hard during every inch of every rep. You can never allow
the muscle to relax. This means no rest between reps either. This
method is best kept for isolation exercises.
Take advantage of all three methods by designing your program, train
smart, train safe,

Went over the video again.... 1:30 am and it got me pumpin! I think I'm going to hit the gym right after a 16 hour work-shift.
Man, I dunno how I missed this post earlier. I can relate to the diet man on top of all things. I was going to celebrate by eating a nice take out burger but than after a thought or two I just can't bring myself to doing it- even in the off-season bulk that soon will start. Yeah they sure do taste good but keep this in mind- you can make one that's just like it- one that tastes sooo good but is 100 times fresher and healthier.
That's what my wife and I are going to do- prep/make/cook our own goodies from ground up....burgers...pizzas.....hotdogs...etc...oh I can't wait.
Try to dedicate majority of one of your sessions just for hamstrings. It's an amazing muscle that is neglected more than we think but when build it provides proper function and improvement on squats and deadlifts and the aesthetics- wow. It's a hard area to make it show as for us guys-also depending on one's genetics- is covered with more fat/water just like the abdominals.
Finding your love is MMA is finding yourself. I found my love in bodybuilding/powerlifting and thus found myself- it only took 25 years but I know what I want to do and how to pursuit it now.
Looking forward to your future posts- post more 'head knockin' videos !!Visit my I AM A JUGGERNAUT CHALLENGE LOG thread

Unfortunately, no thongs were present, it was a family style pool party well that is how it turned out anyway.
Thanks!
Great info Joe. I really do my best to maintain positive control of the weights and keep the muscles tight. Thanks for stopping by.
Nice!
Still Hittin' it hard. I haven't been tracking my weights or nutrition lately, though. I feel so dirty!
Thanks bro. I will continue to update. Not as much as in the contest but I will be around.
I am still tearin it up but I haven't tracked much recently though.
Let me hear it!
I need a bit more flexability to kick heads off. Maybe arms? haha. Busy at work and preping for some business arrivals this month. As far as gym's I am thinking of moving to another one for Jiu Jitsu. I really enjoy the gym I am training in now but it isn't pushing me hard enough. There are to many novice guys in it, great guys but not much of a challenge. I will keep you posted.
Thanks bro!
Don't worry, you guys are always on my mind.
always!
Aww that was boo-tiful. Thanks bro.
Busy Busy Busy. haha
It is something I really enjoy. I just get so much joy out of the activity. Even though it is tough, sometimes I get hurt, and sometimes I just am not feeling it; everytime I finish class I have a smile on my face. All men dream but not equally. Thank you everyone for keeping up with me. I know it is hard sometimes so I appriciate it. I recently started school last week, I am getting more responsability at work, my girlfriend is visiting me and I am preping for a Command visit this month. Lots of stuff going on, but no excuse. After completing the contest I got into a funk and I think it is because I didn't have a clear goal after the contest as well. My goal in the contest was to build muscle and that is what I did and the contest helped me keep my goals in sight each week. Now I need to find more short term goals to keep myself going at the same pace. So with that I will continue to be goal oriented and focused on short term as well as long term goals of the future.

Good post/update. I've noticed that 'funk' after these type of contest/challenges. Some folks make changes for 12 weeks and after it's done and over with they revert back to their old habits/diets. I know you won't do that. It's OK to take that breather after a contest but keep going strong. Find a new goal- even on a short term basis and keep pounding on that. Good to hear from you future MMA fighter...no wait...future MMA champion...yeah that's better.

Oh you got screwed over!!! *lol*
Nice to see you taking a step up in your career Micah. And I can certainly understand what you were feeling at the end of this. I'm wondering how I'll deal after my 12 weeks are up. Looks like we'll just have to make a point of pushing each other afterwards huh?Juggernaut Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=137100863
