IDK. I always just look at the menus and decide before I go.
For instance, tonight I'm meeting a friend at cpk. Their child's pizza with all the toppings is 530 calories. I mean, if only people would realize that the ENTIRE plate of pasta thats 1300 cals or an ENTIRE regular pizza that's 1500 calories is 2-3 servings. lol. I think it's consumer responsibility--not the restaurants. People are just too lazy to do the research and fit the cals into their intake amounts. mcdonalds has a great salad with grilled chicken and you can request that they don't add the glaze--its less than 300 calories. Outback you can request steak with no butter and cut your potato in half. I do think that restaurants should OFFER more healthy foods though

That's wise, once per month. I do a cheat meal with my daughter once per week. lol It's our treat for being good all week.

Well I don't change my eating habits - but that's because I eat out as an occasional treat, not as a (more) routine part of my diet - not because of diet reason, but because of cost . . it's expensive. Maybe I'll not cook once or twice a month - if that. . . so it's usually on a cheat day and I don't pay attention.

I had never been a fan before, but Ruby Tues now has "Fit and Trim" meals and sides that are pretty dang good and they post the calories on the menu. I had my "lunch" there earlier (the quotes because that was at 8 pm due to IF) and I had plain, grilled salmon (259 cals, so a decent sized piece) and 2 servings of grilled zucchini (41 cals each).

I like that a lot so I eat there more often now. But then again I'm the weirdo who looks up nutritional information online before even going to any chain restaurant so I can plan what I am going to order.

My cheat meal yesterday was an entire lasagna pizza pie that I split into 2 portions. It was probably around 4,000 calories. ****ing delicious.

Sometimes, it makes me sad that a "cheat meal" for a guy equates to two full days worth of calories for me.
