    Bad reaction after taking creatine

Iv been taking creatine for 2 weeks now (did not do the loading phase) and now I'm experiencing some problems. I mix 1 teaspoon with 25 grams of whey protein about 45 minutes before my workout. Halfway through I feel like throwing up. It feels like it didn't digest and is still in my throat. To induce vomiting I put a finger in my mouth and I vomited it all up. I drink plenty of water. (No cramps, upset stomach, nothing) I pee every 1.5 hours and my urine is crystal clear. I just don't no what it could be???

Should I take it post workout and see what happens. I am not experiencing any other problems. No acne or anything, and my strength has increased a bit and I'm hoping it continues for a while.

25 grams of protein 45 minutes before your workout seems too much to me. I tried it once and went home immediately due to the discomfort.

I only do it because the creatine taste really bad when mixed in water. The creatine is tasteless for the most part but has a little blank flavor to it and its like drinking water with sand in it. Is there any juice I can mix it with and still have the benefits? I wanted to try cranburry but heard it doesnt optimize the creatine.

Try taking it at another time of the day. It really doesn't matter when you take it.

Switch to a pill form or don't take it right before you workout. It doesn't matter what time of day you take creatine. I like taking it right before a workout also and back when I was taking powder form of mono, I would get a crappy discomfort in my stomach through my workout. Since I switched to AAEFX Kre Alkalyn pill form, problem went away. If you already spent your money on powder then finish it, there isn't any point in wasting it. Just don't take it before your workout and see if that helps
