Attempt after 3 weeks of training.
This lift itself was pretty slow and drawn out. It's no where near perfect and probably won't pass in competition, but it gives me the confidence and the drive to make it easier and smoother next time. I'm currently sitting at about 150-154 depending on water weight.

I'm diggin this thread since I hit 500 for the first time today as well (conventional).
I'd argue to say that yours looked good and passable for a competition since it didn't seem like you hitched it or anything. Way to push yourself through that rep too, looked hard as hell!Celer, Silens, Mortalis - - - - - Meet Lifts: 584/385/600 @ 229 - - - - - Gym Lifts: 600/405/605

great lifting!
side question: you ever try standing broad jump? with the big/strong legs and only weighing 150ish u could probably standing broad 8.5-9 feet or more. Its a decent indicator of explosive power
I used to lay out a tape measure at the gym and hit a few reps of broad jumps. Its cool because people wanna try it"Humility comes before honor"
