    Boxing And Gaining Weight

    taking boxing and i go to class regularly 5x a week, would i be gaining muscle from just boxing, hitting the bag? or do i have to do lifts again and lower the classes i go to , to 3 classes a week and 2 weight training? i plan to do 5x5

    you can go to class 5x a week and hit up the weights 2-3 times a week. As long as your eating enough and getting enough sleep you should be fine. Remember you dont have to lift weights for hours on end. 30-40 mins a weight session going hard should do the trick. This is if you have time of course. But if your dedicated to boxing you shouldnt be missing to many classes. If your doing it just for workouts then cutting some boxing classes would be fine. Good luck with your goals man!
