Diff for everyone, you said Jack3d doesn't hit you at all right? A year later I'm still the energizer bunny on that stuff. lol

Dude. Jack3d has never worked consistently for me. Most days, it gives me a little extra energy (nothing I couldn't get from a few cups of coffee though), on the rare occasion I feel like running through walls, and other days it doesn't do anything.
I don't even use it every day either. Tried playing around with my pre workout f00dz but nothing seems to matter. lol

Hmm have you tried waiting longer for it to kick in? I've recently figured out how to make it hit me pretty much everytime. I find if I start working out without it letting it completely settle in, it doesn't work much at all.
But yeah I've had a couple weird days after my workouts on it, had some crazy mood swings/felt all depressed_=Unites States Air Force=_

Yeah try that out.. I pretty much wait until it's making me go super saiyan in my car till I go workout. Even then, the first thing I do is a few mins on the bike to get my heart rate going.
And if it's any use I take it when I've only got 300-500 cals in me now.. but I usually go workout 2ish hours after waking up. I'm sure you've tried upping carbs too? I noticed now if I just eat some eggs or something I have a ****ty workout._=Unites States Air Force=_

Eggs before a workout, gross. Too heavy, unless you have a few hours to digest before you lift. I usually do whey and a piece of fruit or something or nothing at all. I get sick to my stomach if I eat a lot of f00dz before I lift.
and yes. I've upped my carbs the last like 2 months. lawlz."Be careful about reading health books. You may die of a misprint."

Believe it or not eating "bad" foods has been the key for me, or a bagel with cream cheese. lol. But today I had a snickers ice cream bar and little bites muffins before I worked out.. I'm guessing it's the upped sugar levels as far as that goes.

I don't like the idea of pre workouts because its mostly your state of mind. I believe you can get the same response from your body just by mentally preparing yourself, if your not mentally prepared pre-workout isn't going to do much for you anyway. Just my thoughts anyway.

You know it's a good workout when you have to fight puke monster.
Random question. If you guys eat starchy food before bed, mainly breads and pastas do you ever have trouble waking up the next morning? Like a tiredness you can't shake off...?"Be careful about reading health books. You may die of a misprint."

go do some pushups and jump like a bunny >>> crossfit thing .. unomsayin.jpg
and no , i can eat rice like no tomorrow and still feel great .. pasta makes me lil bit bloated but it's also fine
but as advice try to keep your carbs in the morning and pre/post workout .. eat some fruits or drink lowfat milk before bed .. or take a protein shakeBeast

Haven't commented before on your situation but very sorry to hear about your loss, I hope everything works out for you and you pull through. Easy with the sleeping pills bro, don't get too addicted.

Looks like my overseas trip is postponed till January 2012 so I got an extra two weeks in August to train or rest. Preferably both, the more I train the more I realize the need to take a week of after a couple weeks of training. Too bad I am addicted to lifting heavy on a weekly basis, taking a week of is a challenge for me.R.I.P Aziz "Zyzz" Sergeyevich 24/03/1989 - 06/08/2011
