You know I used to when I was running but it never made me knee feel better but maybe I'll add it back. You don't take glucosamine? Will lube up your joints some, worth a try.

bumpage of not-epic workout
Hey Friends! Busy weekend is busy so I've been absent a bit. One day away feels like a week around here
Yesterday I lifted then went back to bed (lol) then hit up the bank which took way longer than I thought it would (possible refinancing again) then 3rd grade basketball then cleaning a little before friends came over for dinner then catching up on Fringe episodes. Fun day just busy.
Today is Bengals game on the couch (maybe some cleaning/straightening too since I can only sit there so long) then Neighborhood Gingerbread House Making (don't judge me) at 4 followed by pizza. I've been decent with the diet all weekend so kinda welcoming the pizza
Yesterday's workout...nothing spectacular.

Even at 5am on a Saturday the racks were taken so no free OHP. See? I live amongst The Crazy Peoples.
Not sure what happened with the 35s on the OHP but things were creakin' and crackin' so I said no more.
After last week's 360 side lateral raises I went with a little hypertrophy. Felt good.
Next week is jacked up because we will be gone Friday and Saturday mornings. Will see if I can readjust a little maybe.
Happy Sunday!!My Journal

I've noticed trainers do that quite often, it's gotta be in the manual.
I saw return of the bosu as I was leaving gym yesterday - just walked out shaking head.
Really what good is standing on a bosu trying to do overhead cable curls if you're more worried about falling off the damn thing. Even the trainer had trouble.
Something in the water.

They got a bunch of new stupid azz stuff for my gym. It makes me super mad when I think about it so I won't go into it right now but they got a bunch of these because, apparently, the Bosus weren't good enough
lol well I did that Friday night too. Any night that I go to bed late I laugh. Crazy peeps on the EC getting up to lift ... lemme snuggle in bed. Haha!
Sometimes I even shake my head at myself. But it's either do it then or take time out of my day to do it and I'd rather hang with the kid(s) or you guysMy Journal

I didn't at first understand there weren't two separate people in that first pic. Looked like guy 2 was slumped over crying about what was going down in his session. So the Bosu wasn't p@ssy enough eh? May as well paint that thing pink with flowers and have it come with a matching skirt you put on before beginning. P, I take this stuff called Flex-A-Min. It has glucosamine, chondroitin, Vit D and MSM (not sure what that is) and it seems to help. It smells horrible and tastes pretty yuck if you don't swallow it down pretty quick but if it can help dinosaur joints (mine) I'm sure it will help yours!
Ohhhhh....new bouncy thingies!!! Training for the circus
I'm actually thinking of getting to the gym a half hour earlier ... so 6:30a.m. I get there at 7a.m. now, which would be plenty of time but I have a few friends in there that like to chat it up and apparently don't have anywhere else to be later in the morning .... like work.
Happy Gingerbread House Making/Pizza day! Sounds funCaring about what people think of you is useless. Most people don't even know what they think of themselves.

Blerg. Looking at The Arnold and trying to figure out much time and money I want to spend there. Last year we did Friday-Sunday seeing the woman's finals Friday night then expo/strongman/amateur bbing/some powerlifting all day Saturday. Expo was WAYEE busy Saturday. I'm told it's lesser on Sundays.
Mens' bbing is Saturday night and $110 bucks. Add that to the, say, 200 for a hotel room if I'm solo for the night and well...trying to figure that all out.

Listen here mister...
I didn't do them standing in the smith.
This week I wanted to go back to reg rack but they were taken because, IYRC, I live in the land that does not sleep in.
The previous weeks I did them in the smith because my shoulder was being a shyt and it felt better in the there.
I'll be taking next week off due to GWL trip but I'm gunning for getting back to rack the next time I do shoulders.

I am!! Just mapquested and it's only a 2hr drive for me! I'd like to stay down there for a night but if I can't do that I'll at least drive down Fri or Sat for the day. Not really sure how the events work, will have to check into times of all that, but I'm hitting up the expo for sure. Would rather see the expo Fri instead of Sat as I assume it's slightly less crowded cause a lot of people are at work. Would drive down there at 7am Fri, srs.

HAM! Hrm I'd have to see how Friday would work for me with The Terrorists, etc.
The way it works=the big stuff is completely separate and at a different location.
The strongman and amateur stuff is on the main stage in the expo arena. (arm wrestling prelims Friday you entering?)
I see there is Zumba Friday I assume you plan on that too?:P
Anyway all the "little" stuff is all right there but in rooms spread throughout the convention center.
The cheerleading and gymnastics and maybe some martial arts stuff was on the sides of the expo.
I'd really love to see you next to tiny Jamie Eason lol.My Journal

Def want to see a few events, not nessesarily the "big" ones like figure shows where you need tickets, but something cool. Wanna hit up a few supp booths and take pics of dem biceps and dat ass.

We used those in those crazy classes I used to take. They are better than the Bosu's but still a waste ... we don't have bosu's @ my location anymore (except maybe 2-3). Plus they take up a lot of room and apparently deflate really easily ... LOL
Exactly ... you're crazy ... that's all!

Super strong workouts as always Pharty!
You get so much traffic in your journal, I feel bad posting my praise a page and a half after you actually posted the w/out I was eyeing up!
I gotta say I LOVE hobbes' input here:
I wasn't even involved in the discussion, but I felt like I had to rush out and do (another) workout today or else she'd be after me
