Thanks Lonnie. I have some work to do this morning, then church, gym this afternoon, and then pack for a trip to Pigeon Forge (Smoky Mtn area for you Westerners). Shelia and I are celebrating her B-day (yesterday) and my 25 years of full time w/ Fish and Wildlife (Jan. 15th).

I've never used them. Kaleb in kblai0 & jaremus Beta Log has a set. You can check there. I only do a few things....all back work done strapless, holds on many heavy DL sets, and "squeeze & hold" as long as possible w/ some cheap grippers.
Grip was not an issue on my 425# DL a few weeks ago.My current log

I'm too reliant on my straps sometimes, but since I'm typically stronger on a pulling movement from the floor like DL I still use straps for exercises like one-arm rows and lat pulldowns to do as much weight as possible. Working in a 4-6 rep range really only gives me one option: heavy as hell
