So I know Soreness is not an idication of growth and or a good workout. It comes from doing something your body is not used to (muscle confusion?) I.E. Chaging a rep rang, rest in between sets, ect. My question is then how often should you be getting sore?

This.
Soreness is not an indicator of growth, it indicates that your muscles have been worked fairly well and have some repairable tears and a build up of lactic acid/etc. You do not need to change your workout when you start getting sore. If you are constantly sore and it affects progress and it causes pain, that is when you change.
Don't fix something if it isn't broken.

Why not? Also depends how long you are talking about as well as how your own body adapts. Not saying it's not good to change it up occasionally to prevent your body from adapting.
Also, soreness doesn't just come from doing something new. Work your muscles hard enough and even if you're on a routine you've done for a year you're going to get DOMS the next day. Also, there's no number that can be stuck on how often you should be sore (or if you should be sore at all). How much grass could an ass to grass squater squat if an ass to grass squater could squat grass?

Routine Solution - Don't have a routine set in stone, keep it variable and use your workouts to construct your workouts on the fly. Come at me bros, I do that all the time, I have my set split but I do whatever exercises I want to stress my muscles, my body never knows what is coming son.
I always get doms after chest / tricep days LOL
