    Boxing While Bulking

Hey guys, I started boxing a week ago. I've been trying to get bigger too, im doing a good job, the last 4 or 5 months ive transformed tremendously. My question is can I box and still get bigger? I'm afraid I'm going to burn too many calories.

Another concern is if will boxing mess up my workout splits? If so, can I have a sample split with boxing in it.

just make sure you are eating enough. If you are eating 500 more calories than maintenance normally and you burn 500 calories boxing, then eat 1k more calories than maintenance.

Boxing is my cardio. Boxing is a great anaerobic cardio. Lifting and boxing go hand in hand. Eat a little more, 500 or so more calories a day, to make up for what you burn.

its doable. i too have a hard time eating more, but the cardio will make you hungrier. or just drink more milk. I know you didnt want to hear it, but you really are just gonna have to eat more.

Will adding boxing mess up muscle recovery and my workout splits?

Not at all. Just replace the cardio in your split with boxing.

Cardio is good, it works your core and helps with endurance. Just be sure to pack a few more calories that day. Like i said calories are easy to find, in just 2 tbsp of peanut butter is 188. Add two slices of multi grain dread thats about 500 calories right there. And thanks i got a new one, just haven't uploaded it yet.

exactly, just take it easy on them because you obviously hit them hard with wieghts.

i am assuming you lift solid for size

EDIT: from all the advice itt, no one is saying any thing about the push ups and the drills, so obviously its people who dont even box givin advice here lol.

OP, take it easy on the push up drills, eat more and hit them abs hard only in the drills.

    goodluck
