I have a problem with over eating at night. I can do just fine throughout the day because I'm at work. However, at night, once I'm home, I over indulge. I would like to take a few appetite suppressants just before coming home to suppress my appetite...

Drink bulk psyllium husks on a empty stomach. Start slowly (or you will not tolerate it well) and work your way up to 20 grams a night.
The husks will expand in your stomach giving you a full feeling.
Get whole husks, the powder is harder to drink. Also, mix and drink quick or its impossible to drink.Supreme Leader of Thermolife

First of all, if OP tries this he should be warned about the potential choking hazard of swallowing all that husk...
Secondly, be warned, you will have the worst gas you have ever had in your entire life, I don't just mean frequent gas, I mean hot, borderline toxic flatulence. The husks will ferment with your bile, thus releasing this gas. It is AWFUL! No wonder KimJong-il is recommending this, it's torture.Strong-Ass Jew Crew

Husks are an option, although some people can't take them for the reasons Rhetorican stated. ErgoBurn is legit no doubt, great appetite suppression. Rezolution has had great feedback in the appetite suppression area. EC... some users report suppression, others (like myself) have never felt any appetite suppression.

EC suppressed my appetite a little too much. It got to the point where I was forcing water down my system and it was challenging to drink 2L of water a day. Prior to jumping on the stack, I was easily consuming 4L (just over a gallon). In the end, it wasn't worth it and I dropped it from my stack.

Thats a good warning on the potential choking, and I feel powder is riskier since it thickens faster. Having extra water to drink readily on hand is important.
I actually dont have any increased flatulence using psyllium husks, but I do suggest starting out slowly and using on a empty stomach.
If gas is ever an issue, there is always something you can do about it...hehe

Different companies process their fiber differently. I've never sampled much about psyllium husks, but when I was searching for inulin suppliers for Trutein, most of the inulin we received also produced gaseous effects in my and others. I could only find one to two golden brands that didn't produce flatulence. If husks are processed, then the case may be the same. If they're just raw, probably your sh!!!!t out of luck, pun intended.
