    One arm dumbbell preacher curl.

So on tuesdays I have heavy back day and I combine it with biceps, for reps. I haver noticed that for me anyway that doing one arm dumbbell preacher curls with the 25s or 30s have done more for my biceps than regular dumbbell curls. Anyone have the same results? Discuss please and reps will be given.

I have never tried one arm preacher curls, only two arm. I have found that I like just regular dumbbell curls better though, and I also feel more pumped and satisfied with my workout from dumbbell curls rather than preacher curls.

Alrighty thanks! I feel that when I did the one arm preacher curls I could push myself farhter by using the non working arm to support the working arm, say if I would normally only get to 8 reps I could use the non working arm to support my working arm and I could crank out 10 versus only 8!

I'm going to try this the next time I workout my biceps! I'm hoping to start SS this week, and when I add my bicep/tricep accessory work I will let you know if one arm dumbbell preachers help me crank out better results

One arm preacher curls isolates the biceps more than your standard dumbbell curl. One, differing ROM, and secondly, people are more prone to cheat and use other muscles on DB curls, where with one arm preacher curls it is a lot harder since it is more isolation on the biceps than the DB curl. That, and preacher curls are better at forming your peak than DB curls.
