Baco Bacon's training!
My journey from a twig to a machine #2
This shall be my second journal. First one can be viewed here, however it was reaching it's 10k post limit and I'd like to start fresh for this summer.
I don't really want to post a lot about me on the first page, but my previous adventures and progress can all be viewed in my first journal. Basically, I used to be that shy nerd-kid that wanted to be a confident, outgoing, and a ladies man as well but didn't know to do that. I wrestled in my 7th grade and loved that. I was dedicated, and that showed because I was starving myself to make weight, running, and doing pushups basically whenever I got the chance. Soon after wrestling season was over I got sent to the hospital for a checkup and other sht and was diagnosed as an anorexic @ 12 years old - 5'7 & 105 lbs. I was always a runner, but nothing extraordinary. I ran a Half Marathon with my dad last June 2010, a Sprint Triathlon in August 2009, and a few other shorter events as well. I received a YMCA membership in May 2009, but didn't really begin hitting the weights until mid june, and didn't develop a love for the sport until late summer 2009. Lifting has given me so much motivation and will to succeed in life and try things out I would have never imagined before. My confidence and strength (mentally and physically) has exploded these past couple years, and basically my entire outlook on life has altered dramatically as well. I never need any motivation to get work done in the gym. I try hard to achieve balance in every area of my life (school, sports, friends, family, girls, church, jobs), and most importantly having fun at the same time.
Hmm, I have many goals right now in terms of lifting, so I'll list off a few. I'm looking to max out on all of the big 3 lifts in the next couple weeks. I would love to hit:
365 squat
240 bench
405 deadlift
That puts me a little over 1k total, which would be swell to hit before my birthday on June 11th. I'll be eating a lot and resting as much as possible in order to hit those #'s. I haven't maxed out on anything in a few weeks and ATM they are 335/230/375. A bit of a stretch, but I think I got 'em.
After I hit those goals, I am honestly thinking of leaning up a bit. I've gained 50-55 lbs over the past year and 9~ months and would love to trim up a bit of phat and get a nice tan over the summer namsaying? A little off topic, but i'd love to get rid of my damn acne on my back, chest, and face. Puberty can suck big time … sometimes. I'm sitting around 173 lbs in the morning post sh*t, and hovering a little over 180 every night. 165~ would be convenient for me. The only problem is, I love food. Going from 4-4.5k every day and getting fast food pretty damn often to going to 3k~ will be extremely tough, but I'll be keeping myself busy, so I hope I can do a legit cut for once in my life.
Anyway, these next few days are probably going to be pretty lame. Just going to be eating a lot and next time I'm feeling strong with benching I'll go for a new PR, but I'm holding off on heavy lower body work for another week or so to rest up for a new squat PR.
Lame pictures are lame, but just showing how soft and white I am at the moment. I had a tiny chest pump going on (did about 20 pushups before lol), but that's it.
Time to get my rest face on, eat and sleep hard, then workouts shall commence within the next few days.

1st page, in!
Look me in the eye. It's okay if you are scared, so am I, but we are scared for different reasons. I am scared of what I willn't become, you are scared of what I could become. Look at me! I will not let myself end where I started, I will not let myself finish where I begin. I know what is within me, even if you can't see it yet. Look me in the eyes, I have something more important than courage, I have patience. I will become what I know I am.

In for another Bacon log! We'll get some hardcore races going over the summer .
If you out-total me at 2 years younger, I will have to slaughter you.
That being said, I'm pulling for you .
Intermittent Fasting, bro. I did it a lot of the time even while eating 4k+ a day (though it wasn't easy), and am doing it now at a deficit for a couple weeks. Eating ~3k in ~8 hours = win, and less hungry during those other hours (takes a few days to adjust, but then it feels pretty natural).Today I'll do what others won't, so tomorrow I can do what others can't.

Lol wut? I have friends? THANKS GUYS! I'll make sure this is a good log, no worries.
That will definitely be hit hard haha no worries
:/
Lol thanks Dominic! We'll definitely be getting in some competition.
Been looking at intermittent fasting. That actually looks like something I may get into. I'll give it a go for the next few days and see how I feel. Lunch is at 12, so that's when I can open my 'window.'
Do you workout fasted? I would be working out 3-4 hours during my window, because I can't workout until after school.live.laugh.lift

25th! haha,
baco if your planning on losing weight or trimming ive got an idea for you.
for about three or four weeks efore we get out of school and stuff get rid of all fried and processed food in your diet, stick to pasta sandwiches meat vegetables and fruit also aq gallon of water a day.
when i do something like this i lean out a bit but it really does help me with my acne and skin clarity. Also energy and stuff.Unfortunatly its superhard not to touch fried or processed food.
just a suggestion
