Wrist Pain during Barbell Bicep Curl

Ok I see people do barbell curls for Biceps but when I try it, I get pains in my wrists feels like the flat Olympic bar is unnatural to them. When we bend our arms in, our palms face our bodies naturally so I think this flat bar is making my palms face the ceiling with all that weight (55lbs). Just saying because the only Bicep workout Im doing now is dumbbell curls 3 sets, so was thinking of other curls I can incorporate but since barbell curls (if even neccesarry after dumbbell curls?) are giving me pains I got nothing else. Suggestions? Not that my wrist are weak, I do weighted wrist Pushups so that's not the problem

I have the same issue. Recently I read up on the curl and watched JasonDB's video on it, and he noted that most people go too high - you don't need to actually go all the way to touching the chest. I have since tried doing the curls with a reduced range of motion, bringing the bar up to about nipple height, and this seems to have helped.

Also, try widening or narrowing your grip - a slightly wider grip helped me.

Adjust grip and shorten ROM, can also try drag curls. Your forearms could also be weak.
