Had a cheat this evening, and it was definitely planned.

BBQ chicken pizza from Jeff's Pizza. Had 4 pieces.

    $$

Dessert: huge piece of cannoli cake from The Cafe, local place literally right down the street from us. They make some of the best desserts/baked goods I have ever had. Piece in the back is raspberry cream cheese coffee cake - ended up going half and half cannoli/coffee cake w/ the wife:

    Coffee cake:

Feeling GOOD right now. Did this fit my macros? Dont know/don't care.

I was tired of paying $6/jar locally for PB&Co Cinnamon Raisin so I decided to try and make my own. I honestly didn't think I could make anything as good but I thought it might be comparable. I WAS WRONG. This is the best peanut butter I have ever tasted and it was cheap as $hit to make.

Bought peanuts, raisins, and raw sugar....I had the cinnamon on hand

Threw the peanuts in the food processor, this is about one pulse worth

Turned it on for about 4 minutes

Stopped to scrape down the sides and pour some sugar+cinnamon in. After about another minute or so I added a little Canola oil to make it more spreadable

    All peanut buttery and delicious

Toasted a whole wheat sandwich thin and put some fresh (still warm from being in the food processor) cinnamon peanut butter then put raisins on top. For the rest that I put in a jar, I mixed the raisins in I was just so excited to try it I put it on the bread before I could mix the raisins in. Seriously...SOOOO money and it cost me about $2 to make (and the amount is more than what comes in the 16oz PB&co jar.

Maybe I am missing something... you ate 98.3% of it and couldn't eat ONE MORE bite? I am hoping that you didn't fail some sort of competition and had to pay for it. I'm assuming you had to pay either way so the extra motivation wasn't there...

Believe me, I wanted to finish it, but I was at the point where nothing else was going down. The chunks of Reese's look small compared to the bowl, but they were actually pretty damn big. And after you've just eaten a gallon of ice cream + toppings, something as rich as Reese's is not very inviting. But saying that...I did try to force them down, which resulted in everything else coming back up.

I would've gotten a free t-shirt, my picture on the wall, and it would have been free. No worries though, I'll get it next time.

My first shot at overnight oats:

Chicken and iceberg salad mix on a whole wheat pita (with barbecue sauce on the side):

    Homemade banana bread, without bananas:

Ingredients list for the banana bread (in no particular order):

    2 tsp Cinnamon (spice)
    1/4 cup Granulated Sugar

    1 cup All-purpose White Flour
1 package Sugar Free Banana Cream Instant Pudding
    1 cup Splenda
    1 egg
    1/2 cup water

    Bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes in a 9 x 9 inch pan.

Great stuff on the PB, I'm doing the same next week. As soon as this cut is over (this weekend) I have something super amazing planned for homemade PB. Can't wait, I'll be sure to post!

    Protein Fluff+Sliced Bananas

Basically all you need is a protein powder(preferably not whey), berries(strawberries seem to work best), tiny bit of milk, and stevia. Mix all with a handmixer for 10 mins and there you have it.

    Got the info from

    http://www.leangains.com/2010/09/hig...3d-review.html

This is also incredibly filling and tastes great!

Hah I thought you were going to grill me for using FF cheese on the other pizza. Maybe deep into contest prep I could trick myself into believing it was a legit slice.
nah I let you slide, you've proven yourself quite the cook. Plus ricotta, cottage cheese, etc. get sort of a pass on the fat free thing. Part skim mozzarella is acceptable as well.

    grilled cod - baller.

So I’m taking a trip out to Yellowstone National Park and , of course, I’m going to sample the eats!!!

First day here stopped at the recommended local cheap burger joint “Billy’s Giant Burgers”
The burgers were ½ lb’ers of 80/20 fresh ground beef. The veggies were fresh but not “just now cut” fresh, the buns were buttered and grilled, could’ve been grilled longer but they were good. Overall fantastic place for the price, may stop back again when I’m in Jackson Hole later on the return.

Second up “Mountain High Pizza”, a pricey but highly recommended really small pizza place. I went with two friends we each ordered a small pizza (9” I think).

Mine: The Californian: Pesto base with artichoke, sliced almonds, fresh mozzarella and feta cheese.

Friend 1: Thai Chicken Pizza: Thai/BBq sauce base with roasted peanuts, diced chicken, and thiny sliced onion.

Friend 2: Forgot the name of this one: Artichoke, sliced tomatoes, feta cheese on a white sauce base sprinkled with fresh basil

I've repeated this plate for the past 3 days and I still don't get tired, yesterday I switched the mixture up a bit and used the chili for burritos instead. I need to find my usb cable though and I'll post all of the other pictures up.

You didn't need the oil. If you left the processor running, the heat would draw out the oil from the peanuts and make it smoother.

    Preheat oven to 190C.

In an oven safe pan melt 1 tbsp of butter, fry the rice briefly before adding your onion and garlic, fry a little more. Get your "main" veggies in there (in my case mushrooms and broccoli, but could use potatoes, carrots, celery, etc.). Whisk together the cream of mushroom with enough water to get an approximate 2.5:1 ratio with your liquid:rice volume. Pour the mixture into the pan, combine well. Place your chicken breasts/animal parts in the middle of pan (just raw). Depending on the cut of chicken you've put in baking time will vary, but with breasts 40 mins was perfect and they came out insanely moist. Throw cheese about half way into baking. I think this would have gone better with a mozzarella/parmesan combination, or even blue cheese. But Caprice des dieux was all I had.
