What to do on rest days?

Should I still go for a small jog or something?
I work out 5 days a week and on rest days I pretty much just eat and do nothing :P

I'd appreciate a real answer relating to what should be done physically on rest days rather than answers like that.. thank you

you could go for a light jog if you like. after training for 5 days straight, just make sure you let your body rest, recover, and grow.
Your life won't change until you change.

If it would be day on and day off training, I would say do LISS cardio on every rest day, but if you workout 5 days in a row, the best thing would probably be to relax and just chill, giving your whole body some rest. That's the best thing you can do, if you are looking to get the best results.

Rest. I occasionally may mix in some light, resistance-free abdominal work.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

Though if your feeling up to it a run or some push ups always helps. You should always be stretching

Rest means rest. It means take a break from exercise. Don't run. Don't do some light cardio. Don't do abs or pushups. Just sit on your ass and let your body rebuild itself so that you can reap the benefits of all the work you have been doing throughout the week.

This sounds kinda silly...but, I have been going on good ol' fashion walks. Just like the old people do. I think that as much as I love running and lifting, it can be hard on the soul as it can the body. I like to put on my headphones and just walk.

It is amazing how weird this seems to so many people. When people ask you where you were or what you what you doing, and you just say that you went for a walk.
More into running, but their forums suck

Lactic acid only takes a few hours at most to be "recycled" in your body.. DOMS isn't lactic acid rather micro-tears and restructuring of muscle fibers

I personally just chill on rest days and enjoy the day off.. save the energy for the next workout and kill it
