unless you post a picture of your abs and they are better than his, you really have no room to talk.

Id love to have a body like that. But not abs. Was this a contest? If so, you fail at the 'life' section.

actually, I think from a bodybuilding standpoint, lethal has a point... no real solid etched definition separating each abdominal muscle. however, nice development in the obliques and serratus for a non-bodybuilder. I would think the lighting would be spot on if it was to be a fitness book, so that's probably not an issue... is he jealous? not unless we knew what exactly he meant by "sucky"... from a pure sex appeal standpoint, sure, yeah- he's not called LL Cool J, aka ladies love cool james, for nothing... however, if you can't understand how his abs can be labeled as "sucky," look at dexter jackson or ahmad haidar and you'll immediately know what he means... besides, I think LL was in the same situation bodybuilders at a contest are- he'll be rewarded for his level of fitness if he's going to recommend or endorse a fitness book; bodybuilders will be rewarded in terms of winning a contest by how good of shape and proportion (or so I'd still like to believe) they come in.

Anyone knows if he's natural or not? He was chubby as f'ck for most of his career (except early days when he was skinny as ****), and one day he's ripped to the bone.

bought it and its a good read, the diet part has really helped me out. The only thing that throws me off is that he has a high carb shake before bed. I cant remember all of it but its yogurt whey and orange juice. But then again Ive noticed this on a handful of peoples diets that are lean have something like the above. He's got good information from his trainer, and nutritionists including christopher mohr.

The workouts themselves,I think I may steal ideas from. Its primarily upper/lower for a good part and then he goes into some of his hardcore workouts and what not. Its not designed to make you the next mr. olympia or worlds strongest man. Its designed to get you fit.

The good thing is that he clears up alot of the stuff. What I mean here is the cardio portion. He does do a lot of cardio but not to the extent to what Ive heard or read.

Me personally I am looking to get fit, however, I think I may stick to building up my strength base before tackling whats in that book.

Is there a link to download the entire book? Someone posted a link a little while back to download "The Secrets to Gaining Muscle Mass," so surely this book can be downloaded, as well.

    LL Cool J book

Fantastic read. At first I thought the weight training sections of the workouts were a bit short but he uses lots of supersets and dropsets so I'm getting some great workouts from it. He has a section where he talks about all the negatives sides of juicing so I assume he's natural.

    LL's new book

LL is not bad for the average Joe I haven't read his book but have read of his workout, he's not a bodybuilder persay he has more of a boxer's training regiment. He's not going to be overmassive he's just going to look good for the screen. Whether you like him or not he's dedicated his training methods, cocky or not respect the hustle. I won't buy his book but respect his venture out into uncharted waters.

    LLs book

I got the book, and I thought it was OK.

He's preaching the same old stuff: discipline, train hard, eat clean, rest, etc.

There's some cool stuff in there, however, I didn't like the way the book was written.

I'm a big LL fan, and I got bored of the book. However, I will keep it on the side as a reference book, when I'm looking for new exercises or to tweak my program.

For a beginner getting into training for the first time, yeah, this could be a good place to start.

For 39 years old LL he is awesome shape. Anyone here who thinks he was "skinny" or "chubby" or thinks his abs are "sucky" does not know sh*t about bodybuilding, and even less about LL.
Lets keep in mind he a rapper, not a professional bodybuilder. Most of his career he was quite jacked and he has recently slimmed down and became more cut up.

i read the interview on the bb.com main page, there's a little blurb about how people accused him of roids, lipo, AND HAVING A RIB REMOVED. wtf is that about?

i remember the rumor about manson having ribs removed so he could blow himself, i assume that's not what LL is talking about... hopefully.

Back in the day Janet Jackson was accused of having a rib removed. I've heard people say it helps show more of the stomach to make it look longer and leaner when in shape. Who knows if the rib removal claims are true or not.

As far as LL goes, I think he's in great shape and from all of his interviews I've heard the past few years, he seems really dedicated to his routine.

Hmm. That's just a much much much much much better way of putting what I said. Nice post.
