keto helped my friend lose over 120lbs, but he went off diet for 1 year after that.. =/
keeping them motivated is hard man, i feel you

the thing is everyone wants him to slim down, but its how he was raised i guess. eating **** food his whole life. i keep telling him it takes a **** load of hard work and dedication, and that once he slims down hes ganna get 10x more puss, to try and motivate him. any suggestion to keep a fat dude on a diet and working hard?

like the post above me says, it's a really ****ty situation for you man. I don't really know what to say, when I was in highschool I was exactly the same as he sounds right now. Slacked on everything and didn't give a damn. Than one day it somethin just clicked and I haven't stopped since then. For me seeing the gains and dropping of fat week after week is what kept me going. Tell him to take pics and measurements, im sure if you can get him to diet for 2 weeks straight he will see some results. He might take it he might leave it, up to him.

Did you play football in HS? You seem like you would have been a lineman who cut down and had a decent amount of mass from football instead of just a regular fatty with no muscle

Didn't play any sports in high school, was a typical fat kid haha.

Well done. It shows what eating clean and just lifting hard with high reps, low reps, drop sets, partial reps, super sets etc, good compound lifts, cardio (HIIT 3-4) a week, loads of water, veg, fruits, sleep, green tea's, caffeines, good supps (dont need loads) etc can do for you. This is what I do and I have made some sick gains and lost BF, I dont bulk or cut, I find that kinda dumb to be honest, but to each his own.

My arms just started blowing up out of nowhere in the last couple of months. I've had a huge vein in my bicep for the longest time but had the worst peak ever, finally starting to grow

For me yes for others possibly no. Low carbs seems to respond very well with my body. I do still believe in carbs in ca carbs out, I could no doubt still lose fat with carbs in my system, but nowhere near the same as I am now.
