    done cutting. for now.

so today i finally decided im sick of cutting after 8 months. ive made great progress and for my first cut i think i should be pretty happy with the results.

i was hoping to have a little more definition before summer but im just fed up with cutting for now so im going to eat around maintenance for a few months and try to make some gains before i go into a full bulk.

before and after pics are in the attachments.

PS: any info on what i can expect from eating around maintenance would be appreciated too

How did you practice for this nice cutting? I am now like your before-cutting, and have just started working out at 24 hr fitness. I am curious to hear your successful experience. Thanks!

I think you made the right decision in bulking or maintaining for a little bit.

Haha, your before pics = my after pics. Fail on my part

OP what did your cutting cals look like from the beginning of your cut to the end of your cut?

    Congrats on the transformation.

Cutting is frustrating but what really sucks for me is not even being close to happy with what I see in the mirror even after a year of cutting. It sucks that I let myself get that fat. At least you can quit knowing you aren't fat any more. You just didn't quite make it to the level of definition you were hoping for. I've still got another 25-30lbs to go before I get to where you are now.

im guessing i was 25%+ and im about 15% right now (i think?)

the reason for the drastic change is because i played offensive line here in college, and when health got in the way and i stopped playing i didnt wanna be a fata$$ the rest of my life.

and if i go back for one last go i wanna go out a cool position like a linebacker lol
