    Picture Log Day 1 - [Before starting powerlifting]

    This is what im starting with, going to try out the Rippetoe Routine and see how that goes.
    Combining that + random cardio, and some random other workouts [moving cement bags, pull ups, etc] are going to be my strategy until i can do some serious powerlifting [which i know will be a long time, but i mine as well start now]. not going for the shredded look, just want raw strength over anything. my diet consists of mostly red meat beef/pork, lots of dairy, potatoes, carrots, onions, and breads + vitamins.

    just thought id start a log from the beginning.

    I wouldn't add GPP style workouts into SS straight from the start. You have no idea what your recovery levels are like, so leave it for a couple of months and just do the pull ups at the end of your regular workouts.

    If the GPP screws up your recovery and you start missing lifts it will be hard to diagnose what's going wrong.
