I'm very interested in getting one of those.

Currently I only have one set of 15lb dumbbells.

I've never tried one and I only have the picture at the link posted earlier to go by...

...but my opinion is that the ergonomics look a bit off to me.

It also bothers me that there is so little information available for it. No hits on youtube. Very little on google.

Have you been able to try it out at the store?

Dude, settle down. This forum moves slower than the misc.

It can take days to get an answer on some things here.

However, the answers are generally very accurate.

For example, captainmorgan0 already gave you the only answer you really need.

As you are not convinced, I'll add some thought provoking information for you.

The type of equipment you are enquiring about is looked upon in a dim light on these forums.

They are generally poorly designed and made, they lack ergonomics, and they limit your development because they are inadequate for serious training.

If you purchase one of these POS all-in-one home gyms, and use it regularly, you will max out the weight stacK in 6-8 weeks (maybe sooner).

At this point your progress will stall, you'll lose interest in your training, and your gym will become an ineffective clothes hanger.

If you want to get into training at home, read the stickies at the top of the workout equipment board. The information there will give you good guidance on equipment types, brands, what you need to get started, what to avoid etc.

    Some specifics

The look of the leg extension portion of it bothers me. Here's a picture:

The first thing that I noticed is that the roller pads are oriented vertically one over the other. I don't recall ever seeing another leg extension machine that looked quite like that. Maybe it's okay, but I don't like the looks of it.

I can say a bit more about what I think is wrong with the chest press portion of the machine:

First notice the pads for doing chest flyes. Now look at the handles for doing a chest press. They're all on the same armature, right? Now, unless I'm missing something about how the machine operates, it seems to me that when you do a press, the handles are going to rotate away from you. This does not mimic at all the motion used when you do a bench press or even a dumbbell press. I would think that at the end of the motion, those handles would be hard to grip due to the fact that they're rotated so far away from you. And, I don't think it'd do your wrists any good either.

I'm willing to bet that almost everyone here disagrees but they aren't wasting their time telling you since the three that did post basically told you to save your money. There is plenty to learn about what type of equipment is recommended here just use the search function and read the stickies. You seem very eager to get this equipment so you just need to ask yourself. 1.)Is it going to be adequate for you as you progressively get stronger? 2.)Are you going to use it and stick with it? If so then go for it. If not then get reading and get learning.

    I don't get it.

100% of replies advised you not to purchase that POS, yet you still intend to purchase it.

Why the fuk did you bother to elicit any opinions?

Enjoy your overpriced clothes rack, and your enduring weakness.
