maybe because they like chewing gum? i highly doubt they do it for the sake of their diet or program, its too insignificant of a thing to really care about
Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world theyve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. Its an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. Its a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.

lol I do for jaw muscles... but I chew 3 pieces of Trident gum at a time. But also because I used gum to kick off the cigarette habit I had about 4 years ago.

Chewing Gum works
I'm studying Biology and Psychology, and have recently studied the effects of chewing gum. Firstly when you chew gum it makes your body think your about to eat, so your brain tells your pancreas to release insulin. The insulin soaks up stray glucose and sugars in the blood and makes them ready to be used for energy by the muscles! One area of the brain that is chock full of insulin receptors is the hippocampus, which is crucial to memory function. Ultimately creating a metabolic reaction that benefits the body when training in the gym etc. Secondly, the chewing action promotes raised concentration level as the heart pumps faster to supplement the constant chewing motion, and more oxygen is pumped to the brain.
Hope this helps you guys!
