Dont do it.. Youll be addicted and play tons of hours each week, then a year down the road youll HATE the game and ask yourself why you wasted so much time all for nothing.
the game is deserted atm anyways:
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/worldofwarcraft.com ----> click max lolz... no1 is playing it atm cuz people are burnt out on the current raid content and patch 4.2 is far away.
Ive played 4 hrs in the last 2 months. Id advice playing a FPS First Person Shooter. Much easier to manage time and you arent "forced" to log in like you are in WoW due to raids/dailies/etc.

dont get it op,
find something else to do tbh
pick up reading/ another hobby/ a social life
dont get into this **** **** of a game
blizzard has made it to occupy time
dungeon ques take 30mins as *** - and take 1 hour to finish
bg ques on horde side are 10mins minimum - and take 5-15mins to finish
raiding requires a commitment during prime time on most evenings.
avoid like the plague

THIS - srs listen to what this dude said lulz.. I played wow for about 3 months.. was never heavily addicted like some of the others (idk how ppl get addicted rofl) and was really only fun when I played with IRL mates.. which is why I started playing in the first place..
but
if your set on playing an mmo wait for guild wars 2 to come out..
wow is overrated, content is old and ****ty
keeping in mind I haven't played it in 2 years.. it was just doing the exact same thing every ****ing week.
pvp was the best part of it tbh, and that wasn't even that good.

Here's my advice. Don't do it....
They are systematically getting people addicted, using this method: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operant...ioning_chamber
http://www.sott.net/articles/show/20...t-You-Addicted
If you want, go for it. But in the end it's not worth it. The quests are all mundane, repetitive, and it gets old. The good devs that made it great in the beginning are gone.

First thing there is a monthly subscription fee but before that you have to buy the game + 3 expansions ( alotta money brah)
I will honestly buy the new expansion once I'm done competing and school is done
The game was extremely fun but only time consuming when you have no goals set in the game, I would just wonder the cities and stuff wasting time. Treat the game like life and set out some accomplishments.

Don't buy it.
Weird, cuz I was just sitting in math like an hr ago and realized "Holy ****, I'm addicted to WoW"
I only do arena, and used that as an excuse to keep playing like "lol, I don't slay dragons, WoW doesn't control my time."
Been trying to push for gladiator ratings lately and realized I've been obsessing over it.
Cancelling subscription, it's srsly degrading my life.
