possible scar tissue in left pec/arm area

I recently strained my pec muscle(two months ago)..took a month off completely and now ive been back working out for about 3 wks. The thing is I talked to my orthopedic today about possibly getting an MRI to look into it more as I've still been feeling some lingering tightness/discomfort in my left pec/left arm(tricep).

The doc said he doesn't think an MRI would show much, and he thinks it's just scar tissue which is causing the tightness, and if it feels worse in coming weeks to come see him Anyone ever have scar tissue in this area? How do you think the workout routines should go?

I have similar symptoms in my right arm. Are your pec muscles firing different as a result now compared to your good side? What exercise strained it?

How about triceps extension? That feel bad too? Not many people screw up more than 1 muscle at a time.

How do you bench? Arms flared out?
