Moving on to the 3x3 part of my meet cycle. It's technically 5 weeks, but I gave myself some leeway because starting April first I'll be working night shift for like 11 days straight with extra hours during the refueling outage. During that time our new house will be ready to close. Then we'll move in as soon as I'm done with my night shifts. So, it'll be a busy few weeks.

530x3w and 587x3w on squat. Felt pretty solid actually, especially since I unracked it and nearly died since Angelina didn't put the plate on one side, so then I had to to crash it back into the rack and wait while she put it on, and then do it.Best Sanctioned Lifts (USPA/USAPL):

I think my last bench workout was 390x3x3. Today was squats up to 613x4w. I recorded it, but a couple were so high I was too embarrassed to post a video. Oh, there was a 578x3x3w squat day in there too. I've been on nights for the last 7 days, today's my day off, then at least another 6 more straight nights, so everything is kind of running together.

Squats today, supposed to do 590x3x3w. Did 2 and on the last rep of the 2nd set my butt cheek/hammy area twinged. Stopped there. Now I have two twinges, just in time for when I'm supposed to be doing my heaviest stuff for the meet!

I worked back up to 405x1 on bench and 625x1w on squats in the last couple days. Basically I hurt myself just in time to not have time to do any more heavy sessions before the meet. So, I might try to get in one more of each on Thursday and Saturday and then wing it on my numbers next weekend!

I got in a pretty solid 425 bench on Thursday. So yesterday I'm doing my opener/second test. I do a fairly solid 600 and then throw on 640. I get set up and start the descent, and the bar kind of rolled forward on me and basically pitched my weight forward as I dropped into the hole. And as I try to recover from 640 pounds of free fall I feel a pop in my right quad. Finished the rep, so I don't think anything is broken, but it was not pleasant. Now my right quad is all mad on the left side right above my knee. My body must not want me to do this meet. We'll see how it feels next weekend, but if I were to guess it may be token squat and deadlift time.

I did my opener and my quad did not like it, so I passed my other attempts.
Bench
Attempt 1: 407, good
Attempt 2: 424, good
Attempt 3: 440, no good, couldn't get my right arm to lock out

Attempt 3: 0

Well, I'm finally pretty much all moved and settled in, got most of the big projects done and unpacked, and my rack and platform are put back together! Easing back into things. My last bench session I worked up to 335x8, and today worked up to 365x5 on squat. My quad feels pretty good, a very slight stiff after my squats but I think it'll be fine.

Random stuffs here and there. I got a maddog slingshot and worked up to 475 in it. Then my next wrokout my pec broke again at 415. My quad has been mad so I haven't squatted much. Today I did 4x8 @ 225 and 20x185 on squat and it was okay. I think I'm getting too old for this.

I also decided now is probably a good time to drop a few lbs. Since I've moved here I've gained 20+ pounds in less than a year and a half. Hurray for a sedentary job. I hopped on the scale the other night before bed at 289.8. Aiming for 2800 calories or so. It's been fairly easy to maintain by just taking a pound of grilled chicken to work for lunch instead of buying deep fried cafeteria food and drinking a few less Mountain Dews a day.Best Sanctioned Lifts (USPA/USAPL):
