There is absolutely NO REASON a woman needs to gain 50 pounds of fat and over to maintain a healthy parasite in their tummy. NONE. Women are just all fat liars who use being pregnant as an excuse to finally give in to their inner pig and eat everything in sight. In fact, it's actually healthier for the baby for a woman to maintain a healthy weight and get regular exercise than it is to turn into a snorlax who inhales every calorie-ridden morsel they can get their obese hands on.
What's even worse than fat hogs getting fat while pregnant are the ones who stay fat FOREVER afterwards, claiming "It's so hard to lose all this baby weight." B!tch, weight gained during a pregnancy is no different than weight gained due to a Ben And Jerry's weekend bender due to one of your boyfriend's cheating on you with your sister.
F@ckin' fat lying b!tches.

The funny thing is that after they give birth, women's bodies actually use up a lot more calories every day (somewhere in the range of 500-700) while they're producing breastmilk. Theoretically it should be very easy to drop any weight gained during pregnancy. Women are just lazy and like to make excuses for themselves. Plus once you have a baby with a chick you're stuck anyway.

ITT: guys who don't know the time commitment required to take care of a newborn.
I agree that a number of women gain too much weight during pregnancy and stay fat. However, once the baby is born it takes a lot of time to take care of the child. A new mother is not going to be able to spend 2 hours a day working out. It will have to be a more gradual weight loss.
Odds are good that a woman who stays fat after pregnancy was going to get fat anyway.

She gained a lot of weight but it comes off just as fast as it comes on. She plans on breastfeeding until he's around one so she can pretty much eat whatever she wants and still lose weight.
I think the hardest part for women is they spend all their time taking care of the baby after they're born. I don't do much when it comes to caring for the baby and I'm still 10 lbs heavier than before the baby was born. Sympathy weight is harder to get rid of than baby weight.Toxic Masculinity

there's a difference between getting fat and gaining slightly more weight (not including the baby's weight) from changing your diet slightly. not every woman who gets pregnant thinks 'oh cool, baby needs to eat so i'm getting pizza'. lots of them, particularly the ones who plan it or have actually wanted to start a family, will make sure they have the nutrition aspect of things sorted out. strong generalization to make. also an untrue one. pregnant women i've come across are actually very self-conscious about the whole 'my boyfriend will be turned off by me because i'm fat' thing, even though they're not fat, just pregnant.
edit: as for afterwards, well, babies are quite high-maintenence. hard to balance everything and have time to lose weight. but breastfeeding apparently helps you lose your weight, and from what i've heard, once you've got your routine sorted out (and you actually want to lose the weight), it can be done quickly.

OP is an idiot.
Do you realize how difficult it is to lose weight after a birth? Especially when the mother is home caring for a newborn. I can't stand ignorant a$$holes like you who just mouth off on topics.
All you are familiar with is what you see on magazine covers off celebs who work off their baby weight in 2 months. Most regular people don't have live-in Nanny's that raise the child while the mother is working out all day.Follow me on Twitter: SportsAllDay_

I wont judge because I will never have to go through that. Glad I dont have to carry a baby around and squeeze it out of my reproductive organ. When it comes to the NHL thread I'm the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

thats sooo wrong...women should only gain between like 15 to 20 lbs during the whole pregnancy...maybe maximum of 30...when baby is born you lose some of that and then if the woman is breast feeding they should also lose all of the weight that they put on very fast...op is right pregnant woman do use it as an excuse to eat tons of food ohhhh...and as far as acting crazy and irrational when pregnant i think thats also an excuse..lol to blame it on their hormones
and yes ive been pregnant and no i wasnt out of this world hungry..breast fed lost the weight pretty much immediately and didnt have any hormonal crazy attitude when pregnant..I do not respond to negative off topic comments posted in my direction.

this. My wife just had our baby 2 weeks ago and there is no way she can do any physical exercises. Hell the doctor won't even let her. Her swelling just went down a few days ago so she is just now able to stand on her feet for more than 5 minutes.
Not to mention the damn physical constraints it takes to take care of a newborn. I don't think you'd be going to the gym much if you had to get up every 2 hours to feed the baby. Imagine going to bed around 10pm and having to wake up every 2 hours for 30 minutes to feed and change the diaper. This could last up to 6 months to 9 months.
Not to mention her sandwich making duties.
