5-25-11: Back and Biceps
Back & Biceps Day
Today was Day 7 with the new NO3, I once again decided to go with 5 caps this morning as it is the ideal recommend dose for my bodyweight (184 lbs). At breakfast 20 minutes later I had the two P6 caps, then during the drive in to the gym I had 1/2 a banana and then my Orange C4.
Here's today's daily update:
C4 Orange: 3rd Gen
1) Taste: I think you know by now, how much I love this flavor
2) Mix-ability: Perfect.
3) Power/Effectiveness: Always great, always felt.
4) Side Effects: Still none to report
P6: 3rd Gen
1) Taste: No taste, they are capsules
2) Digestibility: I've not had any issues from P6, day or night.
3) Effectiveness: Great
4) Side Effects: Nothing new or worth mentioning.
NO3 Black Chrome 3rd Gen
1) Taste: No taste, they are capsules
2) Digestibility: No issues to report on Day 6, & upped it to 5 capsules.
3) Effectiveness: Some amazing pumps today, I swear my forearms and biceps looked twice the normal size today & very vascular too. + = win.
4) Side Effects: Becoming vascular and continuing the PR's with heavy weight are horrible side effects!!!
~Today's Training~
Cardio: No time for cardio today
1. Reverse Grip Pull-down using small EZ Bar:
warm up sets: 1x10/100
working sets: 10/150, 10/175, 8/200
2. Standard Lat Pull-down using fat bar:

6. Preacher DB Curls: each arm, alternating of course
warm up set: 1x10/30's
working sets: 12/35's, 13/40's, 13/45's
7. Spider Curls on opposite side of Preacher Bench:
this was done alternating arms with zero rest, so 60 reps total per arm
working sets: 20 reps per arm then switch, used 25lb db.
As I didn't have time to do cardio today, I plan to do 300 twists tonight when I get home and before Modern Family & Happy Endings come on TV. Two of the funniest shows, and entertaining that I've ever been hooked on. Hilarious, if you haven't watched them you're missing out!
8. Twists: 300 per side will be completed tonight before 9pm
Some thoughts:
At the end of my first week with the addition of NO3 to this great stack. I'm speechless, this supplement is incredible. I just can't say enough great things about it on here or in person...yeah I've told a few people to watch out for this when it's released and then go get some! It's fantastic. The pumps, the vascularity and the motivation/drive that comes with it. I mean, personally speaking when I see my forearms and biceps get so vascular and huge..it drives me to work harder, thru pain and thru feelings of being tired. It's my inside motivation. Plus all this hard work does pay off, within the past week I've seen friends that I haven't seen in a few weeks and I've been told I'm getting bigger. Gotta love it. I do. Tomorrow is straight cardio day, so nothing exciting.
the 1st track I heard leaving the gym, classic
till tomorrow

5-26-11: Boring LISS Cardio
Boring LISS Cardio Day
Today was a scheduled cardio day so I did not use any NO3 or C4. I did take the two P6 capsules with breakfast pre-cardio. I'm glad it was just cardio today, my bad wrist has been feeling sore the last few days, cracking and making some weird pop noises. I broke it a few times as a kid, and my hand about 12 years ago. I hope I didn't irritate the old injury, been looking into getting new straps with more wrist support as the ones I have don't provide much. Prevention is key, I don't want to take unnecessary or unwanted time off from a stupid injury. The back thing was bad enough for a few weeks, 100% healed from that and my neck.
Tomorrow will be legs or shoulders, calves, abs day - I plan to just play it by ear. It will be the last day at my current gym, hitting the new one, Lifetime Fitness, Saturday morning. I'm hype to get over there I hope everyone has a great day and will see you tomorrow with another update.
something different
till tomorrow

so from looking at your log bro i work in the morning at 7:30 a.m so i take my 2 p6 pills in the morning eat breakfast, 3 hour later eat a banana, 3 hours later eat lunch 3 hours later eat a snack like a protein bar or peanuts, then i go home at 3:30pm get there at 4pm. i go to the gym around 5-7pm with my 2 buddies. i should take the No3 90 mins before working out? then eat 20-30 mins after? then 15 mins prior to working out take the C4 etc. . . how does this sound? wanna do it the right way because as soon as it drops im getting it also another botttle of P6 for my second month to complete my 8 week cycle.

*Bananas are optional, I just like 'em
*Just make sure you get two P6 capsules in the am, and 2 in the pm
*Take your recommended NO3 per your body-weight, 60-90 mins before training.
*C4 should be taken anywhere from 15-25 pre-training. Some say food interferes with the effects, for me it doesn't
thxs bro & welcome
dinner is served..just playin. She's talented, cutie too.

5-28-11: Shoulders, Abs, Calves
Shoulders, Abs & Calves Day
So I decided to take yesterday off as a rest day. Today was the first day at the new gym, very impressive place. The only thing I don't get is that why none of the free weight benches were bolted down? I mean it's great to be able to move them around, but the type of flooring they have - the bench slid a bit when I was doing the rear delt raises. Oh well. Overall it's a great gym.
Here's today's daily update:
C4 Orange: 3rd Gen
1) Taste: I think you know by now, how much I love this flavor
2) Mix-ability: Perfect.
3) Power/Effectiveness: Always great, always felt.
4) Side Effects: Still none to report
P6: 3rd Gen
1) Taste: No taste, they are capsules
2) Digestibility: I've not had any issues from P6, day or night.
3) Effectiveness: Great
4) Side Effects: Nothing new or worth mentioning.
NO3 Black Chrome 3rd Gen
1) Taste: No taste, they are capsules
2) Digestibility: Easy
3) Effectiveness: Excellent
4) Side Effects: Zero
~Today's Training~
Cardio: 20 mins at varying speeds on the bike
~super set~
1.
a)DB Side Raises:
working sets: 17/15, 16/15, 16/15
b)DB Front Raises
working sets: 17/15, 17/15, 17/15
~end of super set~
2. Machine Shoulder Press: TechnoGym Selection
warm up set: 10/80
working sets: 15/90, 15/90, 15/90
3. Rear Delt DB Raises w/chest on bench:fst7
working sets: 7x 15/15
5. Standing Calf Raises:smith machine
warm up set: 10/180
working sets: 20/225, 20/185, 20/165, 20/145, 20/135
6. Sit-Ups & Ab Work:
working sets: 4xfail weight used: 80-110
7. Swimming: over an hour
Some Thoughts: So the first day at the new gym was interesting. The TechnoGym Shoulder Press machine was great but the weight felt a lot heavier, very odd. I like the different options with the overhead pressing movement. You can press directly overhead with one set of handles and the middle set of handles allows you to push in a V movement overhead. That brand is new to me, I like it. It's going to take me a bit to learn where everything is at that place, it's huge. I know I'll get it with time, just takes a little patience.
Guns N' Roses - Patience
till tomorrow

Legs Day
Today was leg day at the new place, still learning my way around so it took a bit longer. I tried out the TechoGym: Selection Leg Extension machine and for some reason 150lbs felt like 220lbs. It was a very humbling experience, very.

Mine was good, worked out on Saturday morning.. Wifey worked out legs with me I think cuz the new gym is sexy..she actually likes it. Good stuff.
Besides that, just chilled. About to hit up back/bi's...this routine looks brutal 'triple drop sets' a few times Will report back later from work, hopefully I'll be able to type.
update: holy shiat that was brutal, my arms have that numb/sore feeling I usually only get in my legs after leg day....Last edited by TheMatzah; 05-31-2011 at 01:11 PM.
