I may start squatting high bar as well, then. With the hooks my gym has I find it way to uncomfortable to really pull the bar down my back (not muscularly, but in fear of my safety. It's just a city-ran facility with random equipment. There's maybe one employee who's actually knowledgeable about lifting.
They got rid of the lat pull down machine, horrible, horrendous mistake. -.-Highlights: http://www.youtube.com/user/bkbrawla666/videos

Not sure if you have a BJ's up in Canadialand lol, but that's where I get mine, 5lbs about $32
Online the cheapest I've seen is $39 for a 5lb bag,
http://www.bonanza.com/listings/EAS-...lb-bag/3226737
Even at BB.com its like $55 for 5lbs.
Though shop around locally, I think you could find some for cheap at a bargain storeBANG BANG ALPHA GANG

Loooool I think that's all in your head man. Protein becomes most important whenever your body is in a caloric deficit. All that's really NEEDED is a gram/lb of body weight. More protein couldn't hurt but I don't think you need to go through the trouble of eating 400 grams. I eat a lot of fats too, I find they've helped a sh*t ton with the maintenance of my joints and my strength gains.

Hahahah. I could probably hit 135x40-45 on the cgbp fresh.
I'm just coming back from an injury, my squats haven't gone anywhere in the last three months (I've still been able to train upperbody though) so my squats have room to FLY. That and I'm also still perfecting my form so the numbers are gonna get ridiculous
And yes, this is my justification for my low squat compared to my bench
Trained it improperly for 4 months/8 months practically out of the gym/trained it properly for 4 months/2 months off due to working a taxing job/3 months back/3 months off do to injury. Now, I'm back.
Just has me all the more motivated to hit it HARD. Seeing other persons such as SydTheKid, Baco_Bacon etc etc makes me go "...I WANNA DO THAT!" haha. Much respect to those lads.

How's stopping weed feel?
Great. I feel much more clear minded/experiencing less anxiety.
I realized that a lot of my anxieties were magnified by the pot
My cough has nearly completely diminished
Although, the need to spit phlegm is still nearly constantHighlights: http://www.youtube.com/user/bkbrawla666/videos

so much this
300-400g of protein, notsureiffukinsrs
no offense but that is retarded. LITERALLY overkill and thousands of wasted dollars. 1.3-1.5g/lb of BW MAX, even then isnt really needed until fairly deep in a deficit IMO. the higher the % of your macros dedicated to unneccessary protein intake = lower % for essential carbs and fats. more carbs = less expensive and feelsgoodman. more fats = keeps joints healthy. so win/win
brb spending less and eating more yummy ass foods, brb ****ting less, brb less flatulence/dat dere deathstank, etc
so much win breeeeeeeeeeh
good **** on no cigs, careful though. IMO your dopamine receptors are still active and still looking for something to cling to, in this case runescape. stay safe, IMO make it a USEFUL addiction, pick up books/studying or you said you were getting some work in, use that as a filler breh, stay safe once again~Sh!tty Chest Crew~ CEO & Founder

So true man. I've been keeping my mind occupied with the forums/reading about lifting etc. Just can't wait to start the work that I should be getting in all likelihood.
Been tempted to start doing ******* but nah. Guys I know who do that sh*t actually look like death. So nasty.
You and I seem to be alike in that sense, in depth analysis of everything. I do that when buying/trading something, choosing something etc etc. You into business at all?
Also: I'm gonna take many angles of the squats tomorrow. Gotta nail this sh*t and nail it RIGHT.Last edited by InfiniteExcel; 02-28-2012 at 06:17 PM.

It's not retarded at all, who are you to say the amount of protein required is set in stone? It really is different for every person, for example, some pros eat 400, others eat 600, 800 whatever. That being said, I need a lot of food to be able to make consistent progress and grow. Oh and I eat about 500g carbs and 240g fats per day, so protein is actually the lowest as far as my macros go.
My log brah come at me:
