whey 60 or true mass

hey guys just wonderin if i should get gnc whey 60 or bsn true mass? i know its a dumb question but im new to this stuff..thank you for all the input i can get

No question is dumb. Also welcome to the forum, im pretty new here myself. But to answer your question, Im going to say neither. True mass is like BSNs weight gainer, the gnc whey 60 is just protein. Also ordering online is alot cheaper than gnc. Im guessing your just trying to bulk up. No need for a weight gainer, to me their just protein shakes with alot of carbs. Just start with your basic protein (everybody will have different inputs on which one is best but truth is to just try for yourself) and eat the right foods.....also if Im not mistaken isn't the whey 60 a 3 scoop serving. Which would make it 20grams per scoop? I used to work at GNC as a side job when I was doing personal training for the discounts, cant remember the specs on it.

thanks ...well i have the whey 60 and ravage ...im taking the ravage back and getting jacked and was curious if i should switch the whey 60 for something else that would be just as good or even better...no im not really trying to bulk up just gain muscle and tone, I didnt know that was their mass gainer

Neither of the products you have are bad products. Personally I liked the Ravage more than Jack3d, but neither of them place in my top 3 pre workouts. The wheybolic 60 isn't a bad protein at all, personally, I like it, but if you were looking for a switch and had to shop at GNC, then Myofusion is on a decent price for GNC, and so is Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey.

If I was in your shoes and I HAD to shop at GNC I would swap the wheybolic 60 for ON 100% whey. Youll save some money too and still get a great quality protein. Not to mention a little more protein per scoop. Good luck man!

Whey 60 is the staple of my regimen. I've been using it for 2 years...great product.

I haven't used Ravage. I've heard A LOT of good feedback on it, though. C4 has been pretty good, however.

Big tubs of Gold Standard are the same price at GNC and BB.com right now. And Cellucor is currently the same price as at GNC...but you can also get Gold Card discount on the stuff.

i think im gonna exchange for the c4, even if its not as good its 20 dollars cheaper for more servings and ill have then tested another product hope im making the right choice

I'm not sure if C4 has hit GNC stores yet. It might be worth a look. You are ONLY supposed to use one scoop of Ravage...and C4 you might need 2 scoops...so it could be about the same in the long run.

Ive notice that gnc is usually much more expensive on the stuff that i buy. I will usally find it cheaper 90% of the time here or on another site. I dont know if price vary by regions but by me the GNC ripps you off big time. Not to mention every time i go in there they try to upsell everything. I go in there looking for some dextrose or something and they recommend a product that is $40 more and has an undisclosed amount of dextrose in it with a bunch of other stuff i dont want.

Are you talking about current sales? You can't be talking about retail pricing. I haven't been in a gnc in about a year so I wouldn't know but I remember 5lbs of ON whey being ~70.

And gold card week is the first week so by the time you can get it on sale it would be at your door already.

Yep. Current sales. The ON whey is a hot buy sale...so that's the price he would get it at.


And most of the Cellucor is BOGO 50%...so you can get more for cheaper that way.

I was going to say, GNC has changed if that was normal price haha.

If there are sales that are around the same price here I would buy at GNC, but otherwise I wouldn't. Not to mention I wouldn't spend money on Cellucor anyway. But the BOGO is a good deal.

oh i saw it in our store...yeah i only use one scoop of ravage and yeah the prices are regional cause where i live the prices are the same and on base they are even cheaper so ima stick with gnc for now until the prices jump or i move or something

Yep. But I didn't spend money on them. I have a 60 serving container of M5 on my shelf, and I took their Nitrosport. I didn't really like either. And I feel like I can get better/equally formulated products for a fraction of the cost.
