Why not? If they can get what they want, who's to say there's anything wrong with that? Besides, they have to have _some_ way to narrow down the supply of guys; it just makes sense to eliminate the ones who don't fit their tastes.

Most of us are probably average looking (muscles don't count since most girls like skinny guys anyway), so why do we expect attractive women?
I don't think "expect" is the right word. The higher your standard, the more extreme the outcome: you either find a 7+ or live foreveralone. In terms of investments, most young people have a higher tolerance of risk which decreases with age, and this probably extrapolates over to dating. Ugly/average women who reject anyone but attractive men just have a higher risk tolerance.
Obviously, the other factor is that most people are delusional about their own attributes. Most people think they are above average in general, almost everyone thinks they are above average in intelligence and driving ability.

you would be surprised at how much ass fat chicks get ass. I remember 2 girls specifically that weren't huge but had prob 30-40 extra pounds on them. I was absolutely floored at how much ass they were getting.

All the fat guys I know currently get very little to no ass.

Never pulled a fatty so, I cannot say. I will say, I notice some men have poor self confidence, self concept, and low self esteem. Witht hat said, they will hit anything, including grenades, and land mines while never pursuing the sort of girl that interests them.

Also, I live a life that incorporates beautiful women. By that, I get a haircut in a venue with beautiful women. Clearly, it would be assumed its more expensive blah blah blah. I got a good job, make great money, and I know the girls there so, I get hooked up. Regardless, you see attractive women working there, you see beautiful girls in there, you chat, and have a flirt, and hook up while in the place. You constantly condition yourself at all times. Still, these women don't workout. 1/10 beautiful women seem to from my perspective or personal experience. They workout when getting married or a vaca. Its always based on the X factor not as a regular life style obsession of aesthetics.

With that said, I feel a disconnect with such women, and totally enjoy commonalities. I find it the next most important thing in a relationship after attraction. Given, loyalty, trust, honesty being the foundation of a relationship.
