It will strengthen your core which is crucial for deadlift. To say it will directly increase your deadlift...i dont think is the best way to put it.

The plank works the transverse abdominis (a core muscle that lies beneath the rectus abdominis which are muscles you can see) as well as whatever muscles you're using to stabilize yourself. Will they increase your deadlift? Theorectically? I suppose minimally if not negligabally. I say this because the core muscles are certainly stimulated during deadlifts bur they're certainly not the prime movers. Off topic, why are you looking to increase your deadlift?

I personally love doing planks. My favorite varation has been one I found in the new rules of lifting for women book. It's done using a bench and a swiss ball. Basically your toes are on the bench and your elbows on the ball.

If your core really sucks, then yeah, it could increase your deadlift.
