This thread is now about parrots.
There are so many types of parrots, and all of them are aesthetic as fawk. You ever seen an ugly parrot? I haven't BECAUSE THEY DON'T EXIST!
First thing I'm buying on my quest to a ballin' life style is a Military Macaw.
**** cats/dogs/white tigers, PARROTS are where it's at.

A 226 really doesn't have any every day practical application for a plain clothes civilian.
If you're looking to carry and have your mind set on SIG then look at the 229 or 220 carry. I would go with the latter as I am partial to larger calibers.
And if you want to take it a step further consider a Glock 30 over a 220, much greater capacity. If for no other reason you should carry it because I do.

this is going to be my first firearm. I went to Cabela's on sunday and I have my choices narrowed down to a sig 226, kimber 1911 or a beretta m9 but the way the sig felt when you grip it had the best feel. At the same token though, I am partial to the kimber because it looks so sick.
looks nice. may buy a 1911Creator of:

What do you guys think of my list I made for my first firearm? I don't really want a glock because as ******* as this sounds, the gun has to look badass. One thing I have settled my mind on is a 9mm though.

Checking in...
I own the mandatory AR15, AK, Springfield XD 9 SC, and a few others... got a really nice boating trip planned soon with all of them! Hope I don't have any tragic accidents like some of you guys have experienced.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

I intend to use this for recreational use, so basically weekend target practice but if someone wants to come and try to rob me or something, I'll have a clip of hollowpoints ready. This is why I have my mind set on a 9mm opposed to a .22 or a 45 because .22 is sort of useless and 45 is way too expensive.
I checked out the springfield xd but didn't actually get to hold one unfortunately. The cabelas we have down here in austin is the flagship store, so the gun section is literally like 150 yards worth of everything imaginable.
first firearm in general. Look above as to why I want a pistol
this won't be a problem. My uncle is a huge gun guy and literally has everything. He told me to go there and check them out and we can go shooting afterwards to see what I think of each.Creator of:
