I started off my two-week initiation CKD with a general idea in mind but didn't do the math. It was easy to reduce my carbs to under 30 a day but i'm sure my macros were off. Whether I was in ketosis I couldn't tell you I ingested lots of fat, lots of protein, few carbs and didn't feel any drop in energy or performance, brain fog, or any other "keto related" symptoms.
Now thanks to that awesome Excel calculator by Man2kx I think i've got it down. The plan is to begin this in conjunction with the Program: 12-Week to Your Future Physique by Kris Gethin (figured as Editor in Chief of Bodybuilding.com he may know a few things)
Document it all in the bodyspace and see what happens in 12 Weeks.
Weight = 200, BF = 15%.
Daily Intake: Fat Grams = 182.5, Protein Grams = 185, Calories = 2380
FOOD QTY FAT PRO. CALS
Protein Shake 1 4 26 130
Whole Egg 4 21 24 312
Bacon Strip 4 16 14 200
Sausage 2 14 10 160
Hamburger 1 22 27 319
Olive Oil (TBSP) 2 28 0 240
Cheese (Scoop) 1 9 7 110
Caesar (Pack) 1 13 1 120
Olive Oil (TBSP) 2 28 0 240
Chicken Breast 1 1.5 23 100
Hamburger 1 22 27 319
Protein Shake 1 4 26 130
And mixing in a good amount of green vegetables for it all. Only variance will be an additional Protein Shake on weight days. Supplement wise I only take Protein, Multi-Vitamin and additional Vitamin C and B-Complex.
Critique, guidance, welcome I would like to know I'm right in line with my macros and all, the rest is the easy part.
