    One week weight loss..

    It's been a week for me of eating 1000 cal below matinence and doing cardio 4 times per week. Why are the scale showing the same weight as when I started?!

    It is true that other important activities in our lives serve as obstacles in our goal to shed off some fats. I know you are just sixteen and although how much I want to advice you in considering medical surgeries such as liposuction or abdominoplasty, still I think you are too young for these.     Body has gone into starvation mode and metabolism has slowed right down.

    Water retention - are you eating lots of salty foods? Check the labels.

    You've built muscle. Muscle weighs heavier than fat, so you may have lost fat, but gained muscle, hence the scales say the same weight.

    What's with the broscience of starvation mode? If your body DOES go in starvation mode, it certainly isn't with a 1000 calorie deficit for only a week..

    one week wont show much...you need more time...you mustve lost maybe 1-2lbs but still retaining water.
    cut sodium to a minimum + wait another week and weigh again

    I'm taking down everything I eat 1900 cals a day I weigh 99kg with 25% bodyfat so matinience is 2900
